"This place was awesome, romantic, clean and beautifully appointed! We stayed 10/25/25. We would definitely glamp there again. The site is along-side a cleared field and in a very peaceful farm country setting but set privately in the woods. Not far from Freeport and Bath, but away from everything. "Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! "The unit is just off the main street (Maine Street) in Brunswick, close to Gelato Fiasco and Frosty's Donuts but not so close that you hear traffic. It's clean, with plenty of windows. Parking was easy, usually on the street right in front.We didn't need a hot tub or laundry, but if those were on the property, we didn't see them. Bumping our heads on the low angled ceiling on one side of both bedrooms were an issue for both of us.In all, a good deal for a good location."
