- Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this lovely holiday home sitting on the stunning Holkham Estate in the picturesque village of Holkham. Sleeping three guests across two bedrooms, it’s the perfect accommodation choice for small families yearning for a tranquil retreat to call home while they explore North Norfolk coast together. Spend a lovely day discovering Holkham itself, where you can walk along the dreamy beach, explore the magnificent Holkham Hall or go boating on the estate’s serene lake. Alternatively, head into Wells-next-the-Sea (2 miles) to stroll along the bustling harbour and take some snapshots by its colourful beach huts. Or go into the Georgian village of Burnham Market (4 miles) to browse its colourful collection of shops, cafes and art galleries.
Park in your private parking area and head into your delightful Holkham Estate cottage. Step into the lounge and you’ll find a welcoming space where a light, neutral palette makes you feel instantly at home. Take a seat by the wood burner to admire the contemporary, country-style decor. When it’s time to eat, head to the chic open-plan kitchen/diner to rustle up some of your favourite dishes to share at the dining table. After dinner, pour a glass of wine and retire to the lounge to unwind by the glow of the wood burner. At the end of the day, there are two beautifully-styled bedrooms waiting for you – a generous king-size and a charming double. A smart family shower room serves both bedrooms.
To the front of the cottage lies a lush garden and a patio area complete with outdoor furniture that’s perfect for dining alfresco. To the rear of the cottage you will find a garden with a handy shed.
