"This property is nearly perfect. Everything was wonderful from the mini kitchen with a full size fridge and the tiniest working stove with oven that I have ever seen. The king bed was comfortable. Wifi and streaming were great. The shower is kind of small but there is a large jetted tub. The water is nice and hot but you do need to let it run for awhile. We sat on the small balcony and watched fireworks displays on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. My only complaint was traffic noise from Hwy 50. Having...

The futon in the living room could use replacing as one corner of the back of it was bent/broken so we didn't trust it would hold anyone sitting or leaning back on that side. But other than that, the place was neat, clean and nice. The hosts were responsive and the neighborhood was quiet."

"This is a beautiful property! We never turned on a TV, but there are several screens throughout. The host has filled the home with anything a guest may need, and communication was amazing. The pool and lounge area was well used when the weather allowed. We appreciated the feeling of solitude while being close to everything."

"Excellent downtown property with walking access to coffee and dining. Some small shops. Then the modern town with full amenities is just up the hill. Very historic"

"We had one little issue with the WiFi because Century Link went down on Sunday so we had no Internet the last three days of our stay. This was not due to the host, however, because she was not aware of the Century Link shut down."

"House was very clean and everything is new and in great condition. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch each morning. Towels, towels, and more towels. "We arrived at the house to find that a main water line in the street had broken, flooding the area. The city had to shut off water to the entire street for 36 hours. The owner immediately stepped in and offered to move us to a different VRBO property for the same price—and it turned out to be fantastic.The owner was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and made sure our stay was seamless despite the unexpected situation. "My sisters and I (4 of us) rented this home for our annual sister trip. It's located in an excellent location. You are close enough to enjoy activities in Independence or KC MO. But it's tucked away at the end of a quiet street allowing a great get away from crowds and noise. The owner (Rich) is nice and was very responsive to our questions and concerns. "

"Stayed three nights in this unique cabin surrounded by cornfields and overlooking a beautiful lake with a dock. Coffee in the mornings on the dock listening to the bullfrogs and watching rabbits frolic. Plenty of room in the cabin for a family and each level is very private. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and better than expected. Debbie and Dennis are great hosts and responded to everything quickly. Also rented the event barn for an anniversary party. "Everything was perfect, some reviews say the place is hard to find. It was very easy. The only thing I would suggest is bringing your own skillet. The one there was pretty bad. But such a perfect place !!! Can't wait to go back and definitely will stay at Rays place !!!"
