"The house was just as listing. Quaint, quiet, and cozy...just as listed. Owner was friendly and check in was smooth. Would stay again!"

"Property was clean and as described. Perfect for what we needed. Close to family we were visiting. There is a train a few hounded yards away that comes by 8-10 a day. Nothing that would stop us from staying again though. "

"My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful but too short vacation to Brownlee Reservoir and the Wallowa Mountains in May. This wonderful old farmhouse was our base. With Bullock Orioles nesting in the back yard trees and a covey of Quail in the driveway, and the Powder River backing up to the hayfields of the ranch. A simple, clean, and well maintained accommodation, it was perfect for us and our dog. Literally 1/2 mile from two boat ramps and a mile from a good country grocery/hardware/liquor/fishing...

"Great house, lots of space, central location if visiting Payette. Kitchen has all you need for cooking. "

"I grew up in Payette but have been away for nearly 20 years. My wife and I wanted to come home to visit friends and family and enjoy the hometown festival activities. This location was perfect and the place was amazing! Clean and comfortable is an understatement. The owners have done such a great job of creating a modern space in a historic building in the heart of Payette. We will definitely be back for another stay!"

"Surprisingly nice house, inside is well done and very well appointed. Outside is still being worked on, so it may be off-putting, but the inside is great. The pictures of the inside and outside are honest. Kitchen had everything I needed, the bed was comfortable, and the upstairs is adorable, especially if you have kids with you."

"Very unique interior decorations, the longer i stayed the more i noticed. Comfortable beds and kitchen supplies were well furnished. Covered porch entrance allowed for relaxing in chairs and storing coolers out of weather. Friendly neighborhood."

"The stay was excellent. Tasha helped me, a somewhat less technical bluetoother get easy access to the home. I was nervous about getting in with the phone/house door access. It was smooth as she described. She had great communication and we loved the house. We had a surprise Birthday for my Mother at the Weiser Elks and this house was great for the second day of visiting the whole family in a comfortable setter. It wsa so much better than hotels. I highly recommend this rental! Thank you...

"Beautiful Location. All the gadgets and amenities a guest could want!! Comfortable beds! Most importantly amazing hosts. We had a problem with our boat and they helped with tools to fix it, great fire pit,"

"Got away for a fishing trip on the Powder River and Brownlee Reservoir. It’s 20 minutes to the boat launch and an easy drive. Spent 5 nights at this charming rental. The 3 bedrooms and two full baths worked out great. The home was well equipped as described and everything worked flawlessly. All three of us thought the beds were great and very comfortable. The town of Halfway is nice and the people are friendly. The grocery stores have just about anything you would need. We would stay here again...

"We had a nice time staying at the Trailhead Guesthouse. It was spacoius with plenty of room for our big group. Cindy was easy to get a hold of. It's in a perfect location right off the highway. Some of the mattresses are uncomfortable but other than that this is a great place to stay"
