"We had to cancel our trip, due to an extreme ice storm coming in. While VRBO refunded their portion to my account, the host is refusing to refund their portion, bc we canceled the day we were supposed to arrive. The weather was bad and we weren't willing to risk our lives, or others. We were offered a raincheck to use within the next 90 days, we won't be able to use it due to distance. "

"I love the mountain view, and the location. We enjoyed hiking the Bells Majestic view, toured Penn's Cave and enjoyed local restaurants. The house was clean and decor fit yhe cabin vibe.It was nice and cozy. I specifically enjoyed all the amenities. We had access to cups, plates and dishes ( we made sure to washed them before leaving).In the Bathroom we had everything we needed toiletries soaps etcs. "We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. "

"The house was clean and had just about everything you need for an extended stay. I was only there in the evenings but it was warm and inviting when I returned from the Deer woods every day. Having the whole house and appliances was great but if you need to prep any meals, you will need to bring a sharp knife for chopping and slicing meats or vegetables. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and the second bedroom has a bunk bed that I didn't use. The basement room off of the laundry room...

"We stayed here for Bucknell Parent's Weekend with our three younger children and one friend (ages 9-17). The home is spacious and clean and is located directly across from the main campground hall and office. It is between a 15-20 minute drive to Bucknell - on local roads. The house has the basics, including linens, which was a nice bonus for a short weekend stay. The owner/manager was communicative and helpful. "
