"This home was the perfect get away. We had a great time watching the wildlife from the back porch. The raccoons, otters, and many different birds were abundant. The home is nicely equipped with everything a family needs. Mr. And Mrs. Simpson were the nicest hosts we have ever experienced. They went above and beyond to make our stay as amazing as possible. "Beautiful place, great location, wonderful views. Not quite as clean as expected. We looked forward to sitting on the deck but the furniture had a bunch of bird crap and spider webs on it so my wife was turned off and wouldn't go out there. Usual surfaces were clean, but anything not thought of was dusty. Could use a good detail once a month, especially at that price. Shower head and shower curtain rod needs an upgrade."

"The property could have been a little cleaner. Dog poop in the yard and cobwebs up high (we do understand they are in hard to reach places) and on the patio. We did find a big spider in the house. It was a great location and a fun old house in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again for sure."

"Beautiful view of the harbor with binoculars lets you see ship’s parked and coast guard exercises nearby. Varieties of flowers and Blackberries bushes were ripe when we were there. Location was close enough to walk to attractions in downtown Astoria House was spacious, historic, and charming and had updates to give it everything you would want. Host was nice and accommodating for our party of 6. "

"My stay was quite exceptional! I loved the cozy atmosphere and hearing the rain drizzle at night through the open windows throughout the cabin. The area was small, but that was the point. The space was well-organized and quaint. I loved my 4-day stay here! "

"What an amazing place! I could have stayed here my entire visit and never gone into Astoria ... just sitting on the dock and watching the wildlife and dipping my toes in the creek. Lots of room for everyone (we had 7 adults and we had space to be by ourselves or as a group). Astoria is about 15 minutes away and is such a great place to visit with lots of things to do and see. "
