"We had a great time at the cabin it was well equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time ice fishing and spending time with family. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots to do. "We were lucky to find Big Timbers for our Itasca State Park weekend. The location is ideal being right across the street from the North entrance. The rooms perfect size for a small family or couple. Everything was new and clean and we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the ice cream and pizza from the store on site. "

"Booked the property only a week before our visit. Super convenient access to the north entrance of Itasca State park.Some items of note: the bathroom door latch did not latch. The pillows kept falling down in the space under the headboard. The water pressure in the shower was only so-so at best. The temperature was very good. "Was a beautiful place. Very accommodating and had everything you needed and then some. Wished we could have stayed longer. Property was extremely clean, beach and dock made for nice sunset viewing. "Love this little cabin -- just close enough to Park Rapids, yet far enough out to enjoy the peace of being up north. Perfect size with the two bedrooms, and roomy bathroom. Love having the laundry available also. My only suggestion would be to have a few lamps (living room and in each bedroom) so you don't have to rely on just the overhead lighting. But we really do love this place -- did you notice it has the biggest kitchen island in the history of up north cabins?? LOVE!"

"Beautiful 2 bedroom one bathroom with the best lake view! Check in was easy. Quiet and nice seating area 4 feet from the water. Enjoyed the kayaked, fire pit and Sunlite bar and grill close by that had the best hamburgers! Went on a getaway weekend to relax and did just that! Loved our visits from Annie too! :) "
