"Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden exceeded our expectations. The rooms -- with all having an amazing view -- provides a very efficient use of space. The breakfast buffet is outstanding -- offering an array of delicious items. And the service staff was top notch. And you can't find a better location to the popular attractions. "Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren sehr herzlich und freundlich. Das Hotelzimmer war sauber und ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine vielfältige Auswahl und war ansprechend präsentiert. Hier buche ich gerne wieder. "

"The breakfast quality was excellent and the waitresses wore traditional dress, reception was very helpful, the room was lovely although a little small but did have tea & coffee making facilities and a balcony from which we could see the eagles nest ( when the clouds cleared ) so all in all fabulous place 2 minutes drive from town which was perfect for us. "

"We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. The outside facing rooms are more expensive but we had an inside west facing room on the second floor (looking onto a very large grassed area) which still had amazing views of the mountains. Nothing to dislike about this hotel."

"Stayed three nights. Great location to walk to the Berchtesdgaden HBF station and get around the area. Clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Very quiet and relaxed overall. Restaurant was very good as well"

" The hotel is located in small community and very quiet. Very nice rooms. We stayed there to tour The Eagles Nest and it was very close. We arrived a little late and they were great about it and hung around until we arrived. We weren’t real late but they showed great customer service. The breakfast bar was really good as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"A beautiful place to stay, it is close to restaurants, grocery store, walkable to lofer town, beautiful house outside and inside, comfortable with all the amenities. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options. The owners ( Melinda and Kevin ) are in every detail, helping you recommending places to visit ,or were to eat..We had a wonderful experience staying there."

"Ich war auf der Durchreise mit dem Motorrad im Hotel Saal. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr modern eingerichtet. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung gebucht, das sehr großzügig und wohnlich war. Das Bett war 1A! Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen und mich wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig, da sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Das Restaurant kann ich nicht bewerten. Mein Motorrad konnte ich kostenlos in der Tiefgarage des Hotels geschützt parken. "
