Beautifully appointed three level, 5 bedroom, 4 bath estate with spectacular ocean views from almost every room. Spacious, open floor plan throughout, formal living area off the entry with a grand piano and two family rooms to enjoy a movie or play games. Enjoy a stroll down to Manresa State beach or even just around the lovely La Selva neighborhood. In the evening cozy around the fire right on the front deck for roasting marshmallows with the family. This home offers a fully equipped kitchen and all other amenities with comfortable beds, linens, plenty of parking and a welcoming atmosphere. This is a one of a kind home that will create memories that will last a lifetime, great for multiple families or small offsite retreats.
Built in swimming pool is automatically heated for mid June to Mid Aug.. Pool heat is NOT available from Nov-May. Pool can be heated during the available off season months of early June, early Aug, Sept and Oct at an additional fee of $500 per stay. THERE IS NO HOT TUB AT THIS PROPERTY

The security deposit refund is taking too long ( 3 weeks ). I am still waiting my refund of my deposit even the condition of the property was perfect after we ended our 4 day 3 nights stay.

This was our 25th annual family retreat with all our kids and grandkids, and we made so many amazing and fun family memories together at this property! The house was very accommodating for our every need. The view of the ocean is amazing and the access to the ocean is easy. When the ocean was to chilly the pool was where we swam. The front patio area was probably our favorite hangout spot with its great views, we had a fire at night and played games during the day. We will be booking this property again in the future. Our entire family truly enjoyed it.

Our stay was incredible. The home was everything we expected plus more than we can express. The ocean views and the sound of the waves never got old. It is the perfect home for a family vacation! We would definitely go back and stay.

WOW views from seven areas

We stayed two weeks and children and grandchildren came and stayed at different times. The third floor was perfect for our daughter, husband and three kids. Also the WIFI worked perfectly so she could work many of the days. There were gobs of games, puzzles, etc. The pool was perfect. Fire pit was fun for smores. The grass area was nice to lay out and enjoy the sun. It was peaceful yet close to many restaurants and towns to shop in.

Great stay for family celebration

We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with our 3 adult children and their families, 15 people total. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was spacious, clean and everything we needed was there. Being right accross the street from the beach was a huge hit with everyone. We would absolutely love to stay again.

This was an amazing, well supplied, beautiful home which was appreciated and a blessing to all of us. We are a family of 16 so finding a home "next to" the beach accommodating all is quite difficult. Castle by the Sea met our expectations and beyond. Celebrating 54 years of marriage with children and grandchildren is special and we feel grateful to the owners for sharing their beautiful home.

Perfect stay for our 25 anniversary vow renewal!

This home was absolutely perfect for our group! Big kitchen to cook and windows galore. Perfect little nooks for reading and great spaces to gather for food and games. The heated pool was amazing no matter the weather outside. Location couldn’t have been more perfect, don’t forget to catch the amazing sunset! We hope to stay again someday but will cherish our memories until then.

Beach Time in Aptos

Our family had a wonderful time at this family perfect house. Lots of bedrooms and spacious living time areas. We all loved the nearby beach and the pool too! Everyone had a great time.

Good size property to host large families, conveniently located. Scenic. Clean. Convenient kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Drive way parking is plentiful for multiple cars. Water heater is in its last leg, need to be replaced soon.

family vacation

The Castle on the Beach was just as described. We had plenty of room for our family vacation. The kids loved the pool and going to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the second fridge was a huge plus. My only suggestion would be to install some kind of A/C window unit for top bedroom. We had to go out and buy 3 fans so that we could use that room for sleeping. Overall, our trip was very enjoyable.

Family Getaway

The house far exceeded our expectations. It was massive, with multiple family rooms, bathrooms, more beds than we needed, an amazingly stocked kitchen, and of course, spectacular views. We loved that we could gather when we wanted to but retreat to our own areas for privacy or quiet. Would love to come back in the summer to utilize the pool!

The lovely house sits high above the Pacific. It has a very nice kitchen and family room. It's a very short walk to the fabulous beach. The check-in process with the reality firm firm is somewhat cumbersome especially if one arrives late in the evening.
