"The staff are always nice, friendly and accommodating. I stay here when I’m in town at least every other month. Some of the rooms, the bed isn’t the most comfortable but some of the beds like the one I nose recently experienced were great. Always a pleasure. "

"This hotel is a short drive to Monterey or even Santa cruz. It's not your average hotel where you wonder if the people are on vacation or if they're actually living there. It's right on the water which is near the Elkhorn Slough. You might see otters in the water and there are a variety of birds right outside of your window. The room was super cute. You have access to the shared kitchen and dining room in the house on the property. I will definitely be staying there again."

" Great little inn!! We loved our stay. The room was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a kayak excursion planned in Moss Landing and spent the rest of our time in Monterey. Again the staff does their best, but the food quality is really bad. Also, we had a seven day stay and we needed to request housekeeping. "Staying at this hotel was very convenient due to its location. My kids enjoyed the breakfast and the kitchen staff were fantastic! The only thing we don’t like was the sofa bed. It was very old and uncomfortable. We had to used it as we are a family of 5. We suggest to update those sofas for a more comfortable ones. Besides that, we loved to stay at this hotel. "
