A Pleasant place to visit within walking distance to historical area downtown. My adult girls enjoyed how nicely the house was decorated on the inside. Great house and location.

Amazing Property and Very Comfortable

Was able to book stay last minute thankfully due to home emergency and needing temporary housing. The Host, Renee, was so thoughtful and understanding. The property was very peaceful and would stay here again anytime.

Step Back in Time

If you're looking for privacy yet convenient to town, this is a perfect place. When I first pulled into the drive, it was like visiting my grandparents house with flower gardens, white picket fence in the back, large yard and vintage outbuildings. Plenty of outdoor seating on the deck plus a screened in porch. As you walk into the house, the kitchen is nicely furnished with a vintage feel but modern conveniences. The Hardwood floors are beautiful and there are antiques but also comfortable furniture that give you the best of both worlds. Renee, the owner was in contact immediately to make sure I had everything I needed. Watkinsville is a beautiful, quiet town with great restaurants and shops, but the countryside is absolutely incredible. It's only about 12 minutes to Athens, if you need anything more. It's was a great place to call home for the week. Highly recommended. Many thanks, Don

Stellar property next to downtown Watkinsville

Great old and beautiful house. Comfortable beds. Comfortable couch and chairs in living room. Huge kitchen, huge rooms throughout. Nice bathroom. Big yard. Really cool, not used train tracks behind the property that you can see from the yard and porch (and explore on them). Walking distance to all Watkinsville restaurants and taverns. We had a great stay. Thanks so much.
