Spacious Sanctuary In The Heart Of Fingerlakes Wine Country

Located right in the heart of the Fingerlakes Wine Country - Our place in Watkins Glen NY is the perfect stepping off point for so many amazing journeys! The apartment is only a few minutes walk from Watkins Glen State Park a must see landscape! Saunter down the hill and you are right on among the many restaurants and shops in downtown. Hop in your car and drive only a few minutes to either side of Seneca Lake and go tasting at one of the areas signature wineries, breweries or distilleries.

This apartment has two bedrooms. Each room has a queen sized bed. In the living room we have a queen sized sofa bed. We also have a queen sized blow up air mattress. This apartment can comfortably sleep 6 in beds and 8 if you need to squeeze in a group!

We have thought of your every need and we would love to host you, your family and friends to our house. This space is the complete lower portion of an old Victorian house affectionately named The Vintage Raceway House because of its location overlooking the old road racetrack.

Centrally located in the heart of Fingerlakes Wine County. It has been renovated in 2015 with an attention to keeping the history of the property but bringing it into the 21st century. Our home is quite spacious with ample kitchen space and a large dining room. The living room is immense with enough seating for all your family and friends! With welcoming wooden floors and original moldings, this home is full of light and comfort!

Very comfortable! Everything was clean and there were lots of supplies around (like condiments in the fridge, lots of items in the bathroom etc). We were out and about during the day as there are some great waterfalls and unlimited choices for beer and wine in the area. We were very thankful for the nice lights around the porch, it made it easy to find our way to the right spot each evening. Very homey! Thank you for the great accomodations.

While tricky to find (so I don’t recommend arriving after dark), the apartment is charming and comfortable. I loved the spacious private porch. Kitchen was great, with clear instructions for using coffee maker. I would stay here again!

The property is in a perfect location! It could probably use a bit of a facelift — some paint and general maintenance esp if the wonderful front porch. But all in all, a good value and good place to stay!

Beautiful Historic Watkins Glen Stay

The apartment is in a beautiful historic home that sits on a hill overlooking the town and lake. It is fairly spacious apartment for a two bedroom and has a very nice front porch to look over the lake. The apartment was fully stocked with everything I needed for the trip and everything seemed very well taken care of. I did not make use of it but there was a nice little area out back for people to hang out around a fire and also a grill to use. Overall I thought this a perfect place to stay for the Watkins Glen experience.

Wonderful spot

This rental has a scenic view, while being so close to town and Watkins Glen State Park. It is also an easy drive to many wineries and we easily drove to Keuka Lake and Ithaca on separate occasions. So many beautiful places and delicious wines close by!

Great location. Well equipped home

Appreciated the cleanliness. If you forgot anything it is probably there from your shampoo to a toothbrush! Very well equipped and lots of information regarding where to eat and what to do in area. We did not not use the balcony or fire pit area as it was raining some but looked nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing getaway

We had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The house was so clean and had so many extra touches. I have never been to a vacation rental that has been so well stocked with everything you might need. Caitlin is so thoughtful! The porch is incredible. We spent much of our time out there admiring the view. And we were able to easily walk to town and Watkins Glen State Park.

Quaint historic home

This place was super cute as well as being built in the 1800's which I loved! It was close to everything and had anything you may have forgotten. The owner works at the visitor center so there was a wealth of info on places to eat and things to do. Super nice hosts we would defiantly stay with them again.

A beautiful getaway

We had a wonderful, long weekend stay in the Fingerlakes apartment. The place was quiet and clean. We enjoyed relaxing mornings on the front porch and quiet evenings sitting around the campfire. The apartment is in a great location and you could easily walk to downtown Watkins Glen if you wanted to. Caitlin communicated to us quickly when there was an emergency plumbing issue. She worked quickly to get plumbers to the property within a few hours. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Beautiful Place

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners provide everything you need including shampoo and soaps. The place feels like home so warm and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. We met the owners and they are very nice and respond right away if you have any issues. The location is close to Watkins Glen and town. Beautiful views from the front porch. Long weekend in Watkins

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay visiting family for a celebration of life and reunion. Our second time returning to your place and we will return again. We especially enjoy the quiet morning enjoying a cup of coffee, sitting on the front porch that oversees Seneca Lake. Highly recommend!
