"We recently had a weekend getaway to this location. The property manager was very precise with our expectations and everything was as Advertised. The rustic feel was amazing. We spent much of our time in the hot tub, as it was winter with snow on the ground. We were just about 30 minutes away from Priarie Du Chein and Harper's Ferry and went to the winery. "Cabin was clean, well supplied and perfect for one or two people. Great location and private. "

Was surprised that the main floor had no window coverings - cabin is pretty secluded, but a bit more privacy would have been nice.Hot tub was a great temperature, but only about 20% of the jets seemed to be doing anything. Also was a bit of a pain to bring our own bedding and towels (we had to buy sheets as we didn't have standard king sheets) - there was supposedly a discount for bringing our own, but I don't know what the price would have been anyway, and there...

"We stayed here 3 nights with three children (2, 6, &9). The place is super cute and had everything we needed! We had a great view of the Mississippi and the stars at night. We would definitely book here again!"

"Good property and everyone had an enjoyable stay. Wasn't completely clean when we arrived but the host had messaged us the day of that there had been a huge mess left by the previous guests and the cleaners might have missed some things so it was forgivable. "

"My husband and I took a last-minute getaway for his birthday. The home was really nice and right on the river. It was a quiet area for the exception of the train which was no bother. The property was near state land which allowed us to do some hiking. Just a 20 minute drive into town for restaurants and shopping. "
