The natural steps leading down to the dock are a little steep and uneven. Some steps are taller / shorter than others. A person should be steady on their feet when using them, because they require a little balance. However the last step down to the dock was loose and there was a partially broken board in the dock itself. Host says she is working on...

"My husband and I took our 4 kids to Wisconsin for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t ideal but the cabin was great. It was big and spacious and the kids loved playing foosball and pool. "Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies."

"This place has CLASSIC northern Wisconsin charm. We loved the fish, moose bear themes everywhere. Beds were snuggly on our cool nights. The kitchen was stocked the best we have seen for a getaway cabin. Only one thing missing-cheese grater! The living room is narrow and small, so if you had a bigger group on a bad weather day it would be tight. Lake access is across the road. This was a great location for biking, hiking, star gazing.
