  • Esta es una de una casa tipo isla diseñada a medida con un paseo marítimo sin obstáculos en un entorno muy privado.

    La casa frente al mar tiene una gran gran sala abierta con cocina gourmet, comedor y sala familiar, con techos altos. La gran terraza delantera tiene vistas espectaculares puestas de sol. Hay 2 dormitorios y 1 baño en el primer piso

    El segundo piso tiene una suite principal completa con terraza privada con vista al mar. El baño principal es como ningún otro en la isla.

    Puede disfrutar del tiempo en familia en la terraza, un gran jardín de césped bien cuidado, un juego de herraduras y acceso privado al agua.

    ¡Prudence Island es una joya escondida! Es una joya única y acogedora, escénica y aislada, la serenidad y la lentitud de la isla provienen de un tiempo y un lugar más simples. La isla se encuentra en la bahía de Narragansett y se puede acceder a ella en un corto trayecto de 25 minutos en ferry que atraca en Bristol, Rhode Island. Es una pequeña isla llena de naturaleza, relajación y comunidad. Todos saludan el uno al otro; es solo la forma de Prudence. Los veranos están llenos de actividades comunitarias como el desfile anual del 4 de julio, el bingo los viernes por la noche, el helado de la granja Farnum, la feria de bomberos, la noche de los niños, el vino y la pintura, ferias artesanales y mucho más.     Prudence está llena de historia, desde Roger Williams hasta American Revolution y la Segunda Guerra Mundial. En la Segunda Guerra Mundial, los Estados Unidos La Marina estableció un depósito de municiones en los 400 acres de la parte más meridional de la isla. En 1972, la Marina convirtió la base en el estado de Rhode Island, dejando bunkers, carreteras y un gran muelle de aguas profundas. Asegúrese de visitar el Prudence Island Museum, que tiene un tema diferente cada verano y participar en su recorrido a pie. Prudence tiene una impresionante red de senderos hacia sitios históricos y playas.

Girls Time Away

The views are beautiful, and you cannot say enough about the sunsets. The Island is peaceful. We visited a few of the beaches and picked up a few shells to remember the island.

Beautiful Home

This property is beautiful inside and outside. Huge deck breathtaking views. This home is well equipped! Best of the best. We loved the peacefulness on this property. I would highly recommend this property.

Peaceful!

It’s the place to be for the sunset. I’m use to coming to this island so I knew to bring a bit of everything, but it had quite a bit to get you started if you weren’t aware of limited access to a store. Definitely looking forward to stay again.

I’ve stayed at Dave & Jenny’s home many times and it is what I look forward to all summer. It’s a beautiful home where I can recharge my battery. Just looking at the beautiful view instantly brings me peace. Everything about the hots and house our top notch.

Perfect Escape

I think this is the nicest spot on all of Prudence Island. Great house with amazing porch to watch the sunsets over the bay. Right on the Sunset Trail. Minutes to the best of Prudence beaches. And oh... the quiet.

Remote and beautiful

It is a great property. Nice home! Very remote but private and spacious. If you plan on site seeing off of the island the ferry schedule can be a challenge. Bring towels, wash clothes and sheets as they are not provided usually. The property manager, Jennifer was very helpful and brought us some.

Environment: Natural beauty

I have always enjoyed spending time in unspoiled nature, and with the Research Ctr on island keeping the majority of PI unfettered by development, that is what I spent time exploring during our stay. Deer prancing across the yard, the gorgeous sunsets, and very cool walking paths from one end of PI to the other. To top that, we were welcomed and cared for by David and Jenny. Two of the most considerate hosts I've encountered on my travels. Thank you so much my dear nw's! Their home is cozy, country chic, gorge kitchen and ocean breezes and views from Narragansett Bay. A do-over for sure! Bon and Ross 🌅

Quiet Getaway

Owners were very responsive and accommodating as we were to be checking in the same time a Hurricane was coming directly towards Rhode Island. House was very spacious and the large decks were wonderful to enjoy meals outdoors and coffee or drinks. Loved playing horseshoes in the yard. Thank you.

WOW

This was our 2nd year renting and it was as good as the 1st! Words cannot explain just how beautiful and tranquil this spot is! We spent the whole week outside, from morning coffee to sunset wine…everything was on the deck! Thank you for another fabulous stay!

Lovely week away

The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. Sitting on the porch and looking out on the water was a full time activity. David was responsive when I had questions. The only negative is I wish that towels, linens were provided or at least there was access to a washer/dryer. The other thing to note is it’s a bit of a drive to the “main road” and the roads around the house are unpaved which can be a bit bumpy. Overall though a really lovely house! Enjoyed my time!

Pretty awesome spot

We have been RI residents for about 15 years and had never been to Prudence. I thought this would be a nice and safe first family vacation post covid (hopefully we can start to say that) The location is wonderful- we went on walks everyday- the porch is amazing- can sit out there and stare out into the horizon. Wonderful conversations, cocktails- bring some games and some movies- didn’t need anything else. A fab place to get away from constantly having to go do something. Our hosts were always responsive and accommodating. Will remember that trip for years to come!

Relaxing

This property was everything we were looking for plus a whole lot more! The owners were amazing to deal with. They were very informative during the process to make sure we had the right supplies and accommodating to our needs. The property is outstanding. Fabulous views, comfortable beds and great cooking supplies. We've been in places were there were no spatulas or broken handles on pots... not here. Everything you need.

Beautiful privacy

It's a lovely, spacious house with a large lawn and very few other houses around. We loved the huge porch (and the private balcony upstairs!) and the kitchen made for hanging out while cooking and eating together.

Hidden Gem In RI

We wanted a place to disconnect. What we found was a beautiful home, away from everything, while still offering all the amenities of a top notch rental. Stunning views, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, CLEAN, quiet, and spacious. Pictures can't do justice to the views of the bay. My children didn't want to leave and expect us to return in short order. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The only drawback is that there is no air conditioning (which we were aware of prior to booking). That said, there was almost always a breeze and plenty of fans available. Thanks for a great stay!

PI slice of heaven

The property and home were well suited to beautiful sunsets, trails for biking and hiking and every secluded beach for fishing swimming and clamming. Our family loved the house but especially the porch and kitchen!!!

Amazing sunsets

I have stayed as this home many times and it never disappoints our family. It is a beautiful home for us to enjoy each other while cooking meals together, playing games inside or outside in the spacious yard or just lounging on the deck. It is beautifully decorated & my favorite place to stay!

Beautiful home and view!

We had a wonderful time on the island. The home is beautiful along with the view and especially the sunset, which was breathtaking. We had a great time, biking, relaxing, and exploring the island. We can not wait to book another trip back!

A Perfect Getaway

The house is beautiful. From morning to night, my family and I were outside. Every morning started with coffee on the beautiful deck looking out at the water. Days were spent clamming, swimming, fishing, walking, and anything else that could be done outdoors. Then, the day ended with late dinners on the deck again. A truly great vacation that had something for everyone! The island is so fun to explore!

Peaceful - Away from it all

The home was beautiful and well laid out. the view from the master bedroom patio was wonderful and the sunsets are unforgettable. It was nice not to have internet and to be able to get away from everything. We finished 4 puzzles, walked for miles, and played a number of games. It was the best vacation and the most relaxing. At night the stars were wonderful to see.

YES, THE SUNSETS ARE SPECTACULAR!

Beautiful property ... Jennifer is very responsive and great to deal with ... only drawback; (I should have read the listing more carefully) we were not aware that we would not be walking down to the water for a dip in the ocean and we had no idea there would be no A/C is such a beautiful home ... otherwise a very stay stay ... Ray Belanger
