"This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. "What a great experience! Shameera and crew were so hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. As we checked in, a pot of tea and snacks were brought in. The villa is very spacious and had everything we needed. The location is amazing - sunrise was unreal. The daily breakfast was amazing as well. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay! "

"This small and charming hotel sits high upon the hill, overlooking a nearby village and the Oliphant Tea Factory. "My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip.
