"This small, reasonably priced, well-located hotel is incredibly clean, the rooms are quiet (although the air conditioner does make sound when it goes on and off), the staff is very helpful and there is a great bar/restaurant attached. It's two blocks away from Union Station and besides its own restaurant, there are several others within a 10 minute walking radius. The downside for us is that there isn't a coffee maker in the room. There are two machines for everyone's use on the 2nd floor, but...

"The staff is noticeably welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My son and I stayed for one night to see a Washington Nationals Game. DC Metro station Capitol South is a quick walk away. Front desk gave great directions on how to get to the Metro station and also on how to get to the stadium. The room we booked had a kitchenette (sink, Keurig, and microwave). Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is on the small side, but it sufficed for a one-night stay for two people. Something I have not...

The room and the breakfast were nice, and the location was great- walkable to the natl mall, Capitol, Smithsonian, Washington monument, Museum of the Bible. Parking was expensive ($60/night) but I suppose that’s to be expected for this prime location."

"There was no coffee shop , no candy story, no restaurant. Each day we had to take uber to the Panera for breakfast and eat at any local restaurant available. What good is a hotel with just a room? And it was freezing at that…in the navy yard? I will prefer the Thompson.. has more to offer and its centric…we not stay there anymore. Sorry. I like hotels with charm. There is no charm here.."
