The host for Simple Stay was phenominal. He was quick to reapond, provided everything we needed, and answered many questions about DC before our stay. This home was also one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in.The house was perfect for our family of 6 (4 teens). It was wonderful having 2 bathrooms/showers. The neighborhood was a little older but extremely quiet, and we felt very safe. We chose to drive to Capitol Hill due to the size of our family and being comfortable with city driving. The location of this home was PERFECT for that. Less than 15 min during low traffic times.

This is a great place to stay. The street was nice and quiet in the evening. Parking was no problem, right in front of the door. Neighbors were nice and friendly. The place itself is roomy, clean and can fit anyone needs. Has a very nice, large backyard. The whole process was easy and Nick, let me tell you he's top notch. He communicates quickly, answer questions, helps out with tourism and he brought some yummy cookies, I was impressed. You can't beat this VRBO rental.

We traveled to DC to attend a convention at The Gaylord & were looking for an affordable, clean, safe place to stay that was close enough to drive & found this listing. Our host answered every question we had & was extremely helpful. Super nice guy...even brought us freshly baked cookies The house was clean & the beds are SO comfortable (seriously- we slept so well) . It was perfect for what we needed. I could see coming back with our kids sometime. There is a firepit in the backyard & a really nice splash pad/park around the corner. Nick has a binder in the house with information about the area, transportation, restaurant suggestions, etc.There's ample parking on the street.2 bedrooms upstairs & 1 downstairs, 1 bathroom on each level, kitchen, living room, dishwasher, coffee pot, fans in all the rooms, clean towels in the linen closet...the space is exactly as listed.We had a great time. Thank you, Nick for making our first vrbo experience wonderful.

We had a great stay while we were in the area to take in the DC sites. Nick was very responsive to our messages and our kids were impressed with the warm cookies! It was a great set up for us and our three kids. Thank you again for everything!

DC Stray Kids Concert

Property was clean and easily accessible! Our host brought us cookies and asked if there was anything he could do for us. The house had everything we needed and the neighborhood was quiet. There was a nice little area outside for a fire! Would most definitely recommend a stay here!

Great accommodations for a say in DC

We had a 2 day stay in DC and couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. They were very responsive and have done a great job restoring the property. They even had a great trip for parking by the monuments This was a nice location to get to the National Mall. There aren't a lot of restaurants immediately near, but at least within 15 minutes.

History lessons for our Granddaughters!

Nick was the most attentive host anyone could ever ask for. The property was clean and stocked with any supplies you could ever need. Ubers and Lyfts were the best options for transportation to and from White House, Capitol, museums, etc. tip: make sure to read the Welcome white notebook when you arrive, lots of valuable information.A wonderful trip! Great warm cookies Nick!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. From the cozy furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. A special highlight was the homemade cookies the host brought over—such a warm and personal touch! They were absolutely delicious and made us feel right at home. Sibling trip in DC.

Had a wonderful stay right outside of DC with my brother and sister for our yearly trip. We are all over 56 and enjoyed walking the Mall and seeing the historic sites of the area. Nick was great! There was excellent communication and his recommendations were fantastic. We rented a car but usually to a Lyft wherever we went inside DC site to the traffic and expensive limited parking. The weather was perfect. The house was equipped for everything we needed and clean. Highly recommend this rental if you are staying in the area. Thanks again, Dan.

Great place to stay near the nation's capital!

Nick was the most responsive and accommodating host we have ever dealt with! He was genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our stay. An Uber ride from this location to downtown DC was only 15 on average. You can expect extra air traffic including Marine 1 flying overhead because you're THAT CLOSE to the action! (Expect city noises and odours as you're in the city.) Beds were very comfortable although 2 of the 3 are low for older guests. We had zero issues with safety or security during our stay.

Simple Stay in DC

The home was clean and welcoming. The living room and kitchen are on a smaller side, tough. The host we very kind in bringing us homemade cookies and remembered that we were there to celebrate my son's graduation by placing a congratulations balloon. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard.
