We enjoyed our stay in Washington DC in this house! The location is great, with all of the major attractions 10-15 minutes away, and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants near the house. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms had plenty of space. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great spot in DC and would happily stay here again.

Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Knöpfe vom Gasherd waren teilweise defekt. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren schnell zu erreichen. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Haus.

Location was great for our stay in Washington DC. Very nice neighborhood and about a 20-minute walk to Union Station. What a beautiful home and tastefully decorated with modern appliances. Every room was very clean. I highly recommend staying in this historical home.

Solides, gut ausgestattetes Haus in Capitol Hill. Problemlose An- und Abreise. Parkgenehmigung für Parkplatz vor der Tür vom Vermieter erhalten. Wlan gut. Bosch-Waschmaschine und Bosch-Trockner vorhanden. Direkt um die Ecke Einkaufsmöglickeiten und Capitol Bikeshare-Station. Doppelbetten etwas schmal. Klimaanlage im EG extrem laut. Baustelle ggü. hat ab ca. 8 Uhr morgens mit lautem Gepiepe rückwärtsfahrender Fahrzeuge genervt. Einrichtung teilweise nicht auf erwartetem Niveau (z.B. Duschen mit unzeitgemäßen Gummimatten und Plastikvorhängen; grober, teilweise lockerer Küchenboden). Insgesamt angenehmer Aufenthalt.

This was a lovely house with everything you need. In a nice, safe, quiet neighborhood, walkable to many great locations! The beds were legit comfortable too! We had a few minor issues with the house but the ones we addressed with Lu were promptly responded to. I will say- the living room could definitely use more seating! But, I’d definitely stay here again! Thank you for hosting us!

This home is amazing and very comfortable! The location was perfect with an easy walk to the Capitol etc. Very safe and friendly neighborhood. Great communication with the home owner from beginning to end. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Property

Property was clean and well stocked. We had one issue with the safe, but it was addressed immediately. Close to two markets and easy streetcar ride to Union Station. Quality of the bathroom products was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend. Thanks Lu for making our stay a pleasant one.

Great Flat close to everything!

Great find close to everything! Plenty of room for our family of 5. Walking distance to grocery, shopping and restaurants. The location made our trip easy walking to and from Union Station for easy access to all of Washington DC. Street parking can be tricky; however, we never had any issues. Our boys play soccer and it was nice to be close to two schools with soccer fields for them to kick the ball around during downtime. We would definitely stay again when our adventures bring us to DC.

Wonderful house in a family friendly neighborhood

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend when we visited the city for a family members wedding. The home was plenty big for all of our needs and well appointed. It was close to shops and restaurants but had a very family friendly feel to the neighborhood. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again when we visit DC!

Great Location - Great Host - Beautiful Place!

We chose this rental for its fantastic location, and it did not disappoint! It’s super convenient to Union Station, making it easy to hop on the Metro and explore the city. The property itself was spotless, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed.What truly set this stay apart was the host—absolutely outstanding! They were incredibly responsive, even with the smallest questions, and an absolute pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay in a prime location, this is the place. We would definitely stay here again!

Marine Corp Marathon

We came into town for the marathon and the place was perfect. Close to a ton of restaurants, yoga studios, grocery stores and just under a mile from the Union Station Metro stop. Turns out the owner is also a friend of one of the folks that stayed at the place.

Wonderful experience

Booked this to meet our son’s family for the Army 10 miler race. House was a perfect location to all DC destinations. Extremely clean, lots of extras and in a safe area. Pleased with parking and extras such as some metro cards that were left for us. Only drawback, not for us, but older visitors may be the stairs to upper level where rooms located. Beds very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mr Lu. Well done.

Family-friendly, jumping-off point

Nice, clean house in a good, walkable neighborhood. It's a less than 5-minute walk to Whole Foods, a 10-minute walk to the (slightly less pricey) Giant grocery store, and a 15-minute walk to Union Station to catch the metro. H Street is a bit sketchy in parts and so we spent no time there except to get groceries. The three bedrooms, all on the second floor, served us well and had comfortable beds (with comfortable mattresses and nice bedding). The description says "sleeps 8" but "sleeps 6" is more accurate and realistic. My sole criticism: the property description says there is a "hot tub," which there is not. There are jacuzzi features on the bathroom bathtubs, but that's as close as it gets. For the sake of being truthful and transparent, I suggest you eliminate "hot tub" from the property description. It's the first thing people see under "popular amenities" on the property's landing page, which is false and misleading. Other minor (but hopefully helpful) criticisms: there were loose floor tiles in the kitchen and master bathroom that require repair, and there was no cookie sheet. The high quality coffee beans, toilet paper, and shampoo/conditioner/soaps were appreciated. Overall, we had a very positive, memorable week in DC and the house served our family very well.
