Historic lovers rejoice. Enjoy the pleasure of amazing views of the Monument and Capitol in this fully remodeled Victorian home. Bask in the luxury of a perfect nights sleep in the master suite king size bed fit for a King and a Queen. Embrace the benefits of a great workout in our upper loft yoga studio. A short 5 minute drive to downtown DC, Nationals Stadium, Audi Soccer, Capitol One Arena, and Sports Arena. Urban living at its best and only a block from the Historic Frederick Douglas House.

The home is bright and light. Tons of open space in the living areas indoors and outdoors. Charming wrap around porches with loads of privacy in the back yard. Our cozy home has 4 bedrooms including a luxurious master suite with a king bed. Three additional rooms all with queen beds. There is a queen size firm air mattress that's also available to guest. The master suite has two separate showers. In the fall and winter you have unobstructed views of the Monument, Capital and Arlington, VA from almost every bedroom window. The yoga studio is located in the loft. It's a perfect place to unwind after a long day in DC while enjoying awe inspired views from the windows. Enjoy the evening around the fireplace, family time cooking in the chef inspired kitchen, and dining in the formal dining room. You'll enjoy the warmth and luxury of the home.

Urban living at it's best. Our lovely home is only steps from the National Historic landmarks. There are restaurants, a library, metro, hiking and biking trails, and National Parks all within walking distance from the house. The View in DC is located in a historic neighborhood with an abundance of culture and history. The home is 117 years full of character. Lots of love and attention to preserving character in doors and trim during renovations while incorporating all modern and elegant appliances. The home has cameras viewing the full perimeter of the property. The people, attractions and home are all truly a treat. Arriving to The View in DC couldn't be easier to access with the highway just a few blocks away. The Downtown area, National Mall, Capital, and National Monuments, MGM Casino, National Harbor, TopGolf, are all a short 5 minute drive. DCA Airport is just a 10-15 minute ride to/from the house. It’s the ideal location for an elegant retreat that’s only minutes away from almost everything.

Great stay

The place was as expected. Very nice, kitchen was great. Neighborhood wasn't the best but there also wasn't any issues so I wouldn't hesitate to book again if I needed to.

Beautiful Home

Truly enjoyed our stay! Kesha the property owner checked in with us to provide insight of the city and answer any question! She truly made our stay comfortable. The location is going through revitalization and was a little sketchy but don’t let that be a decision breaker The home was even more beautiful in person, fully alarmed and we felt safe! Would definitely visit again when in the area!!

Plenty of Space and Vintage Charm

We stayed here for a girlfriends Bachelorette Weekend and had an amazing time. Kesha (the property manager) was very responsive and organized. Just to keep you informed the check in process is quite extensive, as you will need to provide photo identification of every guest staying in the home and she will want to meet you and show you the home on check in day. But she was not overbearing or too conservative. I would highly recommend bringing your own cleaning supplies and wipes especially in the yoga areas and outside, because the mats, studio floors and outdoor chairs were a little worn. As far as the location it is definitely situated in the heart of revitalizing Anacostia so there is plenty of diversity and culture, but be mindful of what you leave in the vehicle if opting for street parking. Overall we had a great stay and I'd definitely reccommend it to a group.
