"It was such a beautiful and picturesque place for my husband and I both to work from "home" for a week. In the afternoons and evenings, we especially liked the air hockey, ping pong, fishing, foosball and water floats. We also rented the (very nice!) pontoon and went out on the lake for a day. "We had four guys stay at this lake cottage and had a fun time fishing the lake. The accommodations are very nice and everything felt really clean. The only downside is the Chanel where we kept our boat was very weedy and it made it hard to fish off the dock. Other than that we had a fantastic time. "

"Beautiful setting. Has all the amenities needed. The owner/manager was very responsive to all communications. A bonus was that the neighbors across the street that own the dock to the right, when looking out to the lake, were very friendly. We used Aloha boat rental. That was also a very positive experience. "This was our family's second time at Sunset Cottage. The lake is a "no wake" lake, in a quiet neighborhood, so it was very peaceful. Kayaks and paddle boards were made available, and we used them every day. Swimming was wonderful--the lake is very clear! There are an abundance of turtles on South Twin lake.Check in was a breeze. "We have just had the most special experience at Lakeside Nest. I could write all day but I’ll just say we’re sighing and smiling. "

"Everything was perfect for our stay! Easy check-in and check-out process. The property was exceptionally clean. The use of the cornhole, kayaks and paddle boat made for a great time for the whole family. The use of the gazebo for relaxation was the highlight of the stay. Great sunsets! "Quiet, clean and cozy place. Perfect for our girls’ getaway! Owners were very friendly, responsive and great communication. This is a rural area, so you have to drive to get to the towns in the area but all within 15 minutes. The 2nd bathroom shower is small, but clean and nice. The cottage has AC units in each room, but we liked having separate temperatures for each area. We would definitely stay again!"
