"What a beautiful place! The rain had almost stopped when we arrived and the adorable alpacas greeted us when we drove up. And then the double rainbow appeared! Wow! What a wonderful welcome! We had such a quiet night sleep and when we woke up to the blue skies and low hangin mist in the hills. It was so hard to leave this peaceful place and the adorable alpacas!"

"We came for a few days to hike in the area. The place was very cozy and nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The hosts are very nice, friendly people who really wanted us to feel welcome and comfortable - and we did."

"Lavishing in a hot tub deep in the forest alongside a clear, rushing river, flourishing rhododendron, and other flowers was the epitome of "forest bathing." It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest. "Pros:Very relaxing place to rest, mediate, cook and sleep with the sounds of the river and nature.Cons:The septic system its in need of urgent repairs. Toilets wont flush properly. The trophies on the walls are smelly and sad to look at.I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family."

"The property is nestled nicely in a forested neighborhood. It was just as the pictures depicted. The only negative thing I can say is that the master bedroom bed had a bit of outdoor debris on it and in between the sheets. There was extra sheets and that was fixed quickly. It is close to many area and activities. Overall it was a good stay!"

"We absolutely loved this property, it feels remote while also being so close to so much. We thoroughly enjoyed the creek access and hot tub, as well as the big open living space. We’d absolutely stay again!"

"Beautiful property! Loved every minute staying in this amazing cabin. The nights were awesome with the sounds of nature all around us. If you want to get away from the every day hustle of life, spend a quiet week here. "

"The highlight of this property is really the view. Mt Hood is just gorgeous, and the property also sits over a bend in the Sandy River with forest all around. You can even see what I think is Mt St Helens on a sunny day. The deck, hot tub, fire pit, and the small private deck are all just incredibly places to take on the view and the many birds. Even on a cloudy morning, this view is breathtaking. The property was clean, well furnished, beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels. We rent...

"Wish we had more time at this beautiful location. Thoughtful design for maximum comfort, natural beauty, comfy bed, lovely outdoor area and bonus laundry. Only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. Great waterfall hikes and hot springs spa near by. "

"Great location, amazing views throughout the house! Back deck with fire table was a great place to unwind! House has everything you need for a great Columbia Gorge vacation! Close proximity to restaurants, hiking trails, and waterfalls! Communication with Travis was easy and he was very accommodating! Would definitely stay again!"
