The larger rooms towards the street has more view but noice from the street is probably also more evident. Fair breakfast, wonderful art and old furnitures from Burma. The hotel only has 9 rooms over 3 floors with no elevator (not really a problem for us)."

"This hotel is a hidden gem. Is located outside the old town , but it is surrounded by a number of interesting cafe and restaurants, we have tried a few and they are all very good . The hotel is nicely design and managed by a team of experienced staff. The breakfast omelette is delicious!"

"Very clean and very quiet. Small, clean, basic room and the owner is a sweetheart who will help you out with anything. Even loaned me a bicycle for the week I was there :) Great location for wondering around. Explore the alleys for hidden gems!"

"staff are friendly and efficient. they gave us good advice on restaurants and helped arrange a field trip. breakfasts well prepared and tasty. nothing to dislike. Pool gets a bit crowded and teens become somewhat raucous but that's life. "

"Ik heb enorm genoten van mijn verblijf in dit hostel. Super service en alles is gewoon goed geregeld. Bedden slapen goed en voldoende privacy. Toiletten en douches zijn goed. Zwembad is ideaal in de warme tijd. Het personeel staat altijd voor je klaar. Al met al een dikke 10!"

"I don’t know where to start. We cannot say enough about our stay at 137 Pillars. The property is stunning go begin with, but it really comes down to the staff. Toto, our butler, was so thoughtful and attentive to anything we needed, but indeed the whole staff is imbued with the spirit of hospitality. It’s truly a special place we didn’t want to leave!"

"The hotel and spa delivers excellent service an amenities, I felt well looked after and cared for my entire visit, especially by the security and concierges who made sure I was safe entering and exiting the building and always had a positive attitude towards my stay! The room is nice, I enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and took great use of the large bath. The complimentary water was also very much appreciated! Overall I think the hotel is nice and worth a visit :)"

"Very nice property and very friendly staffs! In the hotel, gym and pool areas are out of the property and is a separate cost, I thought it came with the hotel but no that’s separate but other than that very great place to stay everything is near and very convenient! But can’t get enough of the friendly staffs all were very nice and would always check up on me as a solo traveler! "

"We stayed 3 nights and it was great. The staff were very polite and helpful. The location is very good - easy to get to wherever you need to go. There was also free parking. Rooms were modern and clean. I would highly recommend a stay here."
