Once you stay there, you will understand why it was President Obama's preferred place to stayl in SF. We recently stayed at another SF Hotel and deeply regretted not going back to the Omni. We were a bit put off by the $92 a day parking--but going forward will just look at it as part of the total room price when comparing other properties."

"Clean room, great staff, great location for trolley and bus.Valet parking marked on sign, and their website $79.00 was $101.00 upon check out! Has went up $10.00 every year we go but was over $20.00! Cute little restaurant was $100.00 for 2 teas(just a bag) 3 tiny desserts for 2 people and they added their own tip! Beware. Rooms great, beds spectacular, but a few items that will steer us in another direction. Went there for 4 years."

"Staff was sweet. The beds are tiny and the rooms are really small. Also, our bed was slanted backwards like you were going downhill backwards."

"The actual hotel is rundown and old, nothing like the photos make it seem. The walls are so dirty and the carpet definitely needs to be replaced. Made the mistake of not looking up the area before booking; absolutely terrible. Lots of homeless. The staff was friendly, which was the only positive about this hotel. "

"This was a nice cozy small hotel building, the rooms were nice and the breakfast was great but don’t expect the usual eggs and sausage deal. They serve mostly healthy fruits and pastries. The only pet peeve I have is that they don’t mention a fee of $25 per night extra for the breakfast-on the website the breakfast is free but in actuality you pay for it!!"

"Staff is excellent and helpful. The bed are the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The rooftop bar is nice but expensive. The hotel is not in the best part of town, so not really walkable to restaurants etc. "

"For being an executive room. It was very small. Not even a coffee pot. Constable to a motel 6. Definitely will not start again nor recommend. "

"I set the ac to 68 and it always stayed at 72. Room was very stuff. Place needs a bit of TLC. Pillows are flat, towels are tiny and the bathroom literally would leak water from the shower. We placed a towel under the door to prevent it from leaking all over the floor, which minimized but did not stop. I’m not sure the hotel was worth the cost. Even the game area, while cool in theory…..it could stand some cleanliness with all the guests touching. "
