"The place is very comfortable and looks just like the photos. Lots of thoughtful touches and it was stocked with most everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The patio area was a very nice touch. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area again. "

"This was our third time starting at this house. We love it, just like before. Fishing all day, playing games at night (tons available at the house) or watching funny videos on YouTube in the cozy living room. I drew the blinds up in the living room, bedrooms and the kitchen, because all have the beautiful marsh and the river out back. Love the kitchen at this house too. Loaded up on blue crabs, Bait shops just minutes away. Perfect vacation!"

"This was such a treat staying in this cute river cottage. Fred and Jane were amazing hosts and very responsive and helpful when we had questions. The beds and couches are comfy. The shower and bathroom are large and clean. It was too hot to use the outdoor shower, but it’s an awesome touch. We utilized the grill and kitchen to save money on meals. The kitchen is well stocked and the pans were some of the nicest we’ve had in a VRBO, which made it easier to clean up after meals. The coffee was...

"Great time with my seven grand daughters ((and granddaughters in law and potential granddaughters in law). Played lots of games, made souvenier t-shirts and ate too well. A few bugs (squeamish girls!) and the house could be updated a bit, but it appeared to be very clean with lots of comforts and a very well equipped kitchen. Mornings on the dock were delightful and the changing tides made the view different everytime we were there. Loved our time together!!!"

"We absolutely enjoyed our time at this home. It was fantastic to witness the coming and going of the tides in the marsh and the wildlife at different times of the day. The screened back porch was phenomenal. We deeply appreciated the wonderful hospitality and were thrilled to make memories in GA!"

"We booked this stay last minute as we were evacuating for the hurricane in Florida. The host and housekeeper were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!"

"There was never a dull moment for us! We started at 7 am on the doc fishing, crabbing and kayaking! Spent the hot days inside enjoying games and all of the neat knick knacks, collectables and books! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!"

"This place is adorable! I stayed here for almost 2 weeks with my husband, our two children (a toddler and a baby), my mom, and our dogs. We found it to be comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet and cozy, yet still big enough for everybody to spread out. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, he was quick to respond to all my questions. We very much enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Hinesville, particularly if traveling with children and pets."

"Although we only stayed over night on our way home, we found the home cheerful and comfortable. The complementary healthy snacks and coffee were a thoughtful touch. We had everything we needed to recharge from a long drive. We appreciated the fenced in yard since we were traveling with a pet. The home was spotless and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We would stay again if our travels take us in that direction. "

"We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave!"

"To say that this couple went beyond expectations to make sure that we were safe and comfortable- there are no words. Their home was beautiful, updated, and the coolest place we’ve ever stayed, according to my grandchildren(which is amazing since we had just spent a week in a cabin in the Smokey mountains). If you have the chance book it, it’s an hours drive to many places. Thank you for your service, your hospitality was amazing!"
