"This was a really comfortable cabin with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. As the name says, it was a good place for fishing and we had fun on the inner tubes, too. Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful time here. Mike and Sue were the best hosts. The home is older but very charming. A railroad crossing is close by. Absolutely beautiful area to stay, with amazing yard including large fire pit and clean creek. Would love to come back. "

"Everything was near brand new. Washer and dryer were fantastic. Beds comfortable. Be aware there is no dishwasher but was no problem. Was a little musty near the back staircase in the heat of the day. Worked with the mngt company and owner and a sibling came out to help resolve. "Great location! My mom and I absolutely loved the General’s Hideaway for our trip to Gettysburg. We even loved the pool table and played a few games. We brought my Mom’s service dog with us and the hosts made sure to include a bed and supplies for him if needed, which was very sweet of them. "Amazing house, with the kindest, most accommodating host I've ever had with both Vrbo. Sherah was very responsive, sent someone to help us when we had tiny issues (not the hosts fault), and went above and beyond to make sure that my crew and I had a comfortable stay. "This was my husband and I’s first trip to Gettysburg. We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing time. This was mostly in part to the McKinney family’s wonderful hospitality with allowing us to rent their beautiful home. It was just what we needed for my husband and I and our furry family.
