"The property is on a quiet street with easy walking access to the lake. The trees on the west side of the property helped keep the cabin cool in the afternoon. We appreciated the array of kitchen pots and pans, and the living room was spacious. We had originally planned to eat out a couple of times, but cooking and eating in the cabin just seemed so pleasant so we didn't stray for meals. "

"Vacasa sent us directions to the lake house we cancelled instead of the new one on the river, so that caused some issues after driving all day (376 miles). It was upsetting but once i contacted them via text, they verified they made an error and sent the new directions. Still, we wasted a good hour trying to figure out the incorrect directions and everything. Thankfully, the correct cabin was beautiful as were the grounds and the beautiful raging river! "Great location, within walking distance to everything in downtown Joseph. Fully stocked and comfortable kitchen with room to place your own belongings. Master bedroom is large and comfortable with attached bath. We had a full house and there was plenty of room for movement and hanging out in the evening. Thank you to Brent Neely, super responsive and great to work with. "

"We had an excellent stay at the Cabin in Joseph. There were a lot of details we liked about this cabin and overall it was a great place for us to call home base as we hiked in the mountains.We would certainly return to this place and highly recommend to anyone needing a place in the area."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made us feel instantly at ease upon arrival. The home was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax comfortably.The location was perfect for our needs—quiet and peaceful, yet close to scenic walking trails that we enjoyed exploring daily. "Stay was very relaxing, however the power went out 1-2 times everyday and we stayed a week. I guess this is how things roll in this area as many locals said in town. It’s just something we would have wanted heads up on as flashlights provided need batteries and no candles. The longest it went out was 3 hours to 45 mins.
