"Great home with an amazing back deck that has a wonderful view of the river! The sound of that river while sitting out there was fabulous!! The home was very clean and great comfortable beds! Only suggestion would be for some new pots and pans! We hope to visit again!"

"The property is on a quiet street with easy walking access to the lake. The trees on the west side of the property helped keep the cabin cool in the afternoon. We appreciated the array of kitchen pots and pans, and the living room was spacious. We had originally planned to eat out a couple of times, but cooking and eating in the cabin just seemed so pleasant so we didn't stray for meals. "

"It looked nice, but you have to hike 200 feet from the parking by a single wide trailer on uneven rocky terrain so definitely no disabled persons should come. Also if you dont know how to plumb in a dishwasher, your hands should be rough enough to be used as a sponge. And yes, I meant thar you need to self plumb the dishwasher to the sink to use it. Then we get to the huge black ants. Over 3 nights, I killed maybe 50, slept with two, wore one under my shirt, and cooked beside them. No wifi, no...

"The view is worth the hike! Comfortable luxury, well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views from the deck, but if you want the ultimate view, it’s well worth the hike straight up the mountain!"

" The spaciousness & ambiance of the lovely place welcomed us .. the view of the Wallowa Mts was a breathtaking sight from large windows. There’s cozy seating for reading/chatting or TV time. Lots of room to spread out in. Kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of counter space. Comfortable bed/ bedding made for a wonderful night’s sleep. We liked the convenience of a washer/dryer/iron too. Downtown Joseph is a short walk away & very convenient with shops, art galleries, grocery, delicious...

"Beautiful location on the lake with amazing views. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the lake and the private dock is nice. The beds were comfortable. I wish we had the entire house but some areas are private. The house is old, so you hear everything going on around you inside. The short driveway is steep, scary, and hard to navigate."

"Husband and I brought brother from Texas to see the beauty of Eastern Oregon. The cabin was perfect. Had everything we needed. Saw lots of wildlife and hiked every day. Nice and cozy for all of us. Roku works perfectly and was great in the evening after a day of fishing and hiking."
