Little Retreat for Legoland

Our little family stayed at this quaint house during a trip from Brooklyn for a visit to Legoland. We found charming restaurants very close by, we loved watching sunsets over the river each night and even tried our hand at fishing. The house was perfectly laid out for my husband and I and our son to have separate spaces, but not be too far from each other and it was well equipped with board games, outdoor games, and easy access to every streaming app. The beds were comfy. There were tons of pillows and blankets. Really everything you would need for a weekend away!

Spectacular home & location

Beautiful home. Perfect location & nice neighborhood. Quiet. River added to the beauty. Spacious. Safe. Lovely kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bath. Will book it again next time we visit. Thank you very much!

Short stay with family

Overall our stay was great. The place is very clean and the rooms look like the pictures. The listing is listed as an entire house but there is another unit attached to the house. There was a unit above us and to the side of us. With 4 children I knew we would have moments that it would be loud and I didn’t like that I knew other people shared walls with us. I specifically booked it because it is listed as a whole house. Additionally the deck in the pictures has furniture but there is currently no furniture. When I contacted the host she said they were waiting on new furniture to arrive, which is great for the future renters but not us. We had planned on sitting on the deck after the kids went to bed. The host said we could bring up chairs from the basement which didn’t interest us. There are multiple cameras in the backyard. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable. We understand hosts needing cameras for renters but it seemed excessive.

Wallkill Paradise

Family REALLY loved our stay here. House was gorgeous and roomy. Backyard was amazing, fire pits and well maintained. Kelly, property management, were attentive and very kind. Saving this on favorites for our next trip

50th Birthday Bash

We had a great stay. The house was clean and met all our needs. We used the fire pit on Friday, used the back lawn for yoga on the river bank and lunch on the porch. The keyless entry was great for ins and outs for our group.

Perfect rental for us!

Kelly was on top of it all…from initial check in to check out! Really appreciated the prompt communication and being so accommodating! This rental was clean, great location for hiking, biking and all we needed!! We loved hanging out by the fire pit and down by the river. The view and location is perfect. Thanks for everything…we will be back!

Lovely Spot

The house is delightful. Very comfortable and well stocked with all you need for a weekend at the river. We enjoyed our stay. Only negative was gunshots at 6AM on a Sunday morning. I assume they were goose hunting but this seems strange given the residential nature of the home. Thanks to our hosts!

Weekend Girls Trip

This was our 2nd time staying her and overall we love the place! Only downside is that we wish that the outdoor deck was better maintained and that the host provided citronella candles etc to combat all the bugs vs us having to buy our own for the house.

Oasis upstate

My friend and I did 2 days of hiking and antique shopping upstate and found this lovelyhome that was perfect for our stay. We lived the peaceful backyard and found the host super accommodating abs the house very clean. Thank you!

Perfect Stay

We did a moms and teens two day get away. We had so much fun! Everyone loved the fire pit. The kids had fun with the board games and play room down stairs. We cooks some nice meals the kitchen was well stocked with pans and plates, salt and seasoning. There was even olive oil. We hope to do it again next year!

Relaxing

Home was very clean, beds were comfortable and linens were soft and clean. Family and I had a very good time, we wanted a relaxing weekend and we got it. Kelly responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Kelly's home.

Beautiful location and space

Multiple family members stayed for a family graduation party nearby. Kelly was quick to respond to questions and the duplex house was beautiful, all newly done and decorated. The location was fabulous, and we only wish the weather had allowed us to enjoy a fire outside on the riverbank. My only suggestion would be to provide sheets and blankets for the couches since they are considered as beds for two people. We did find two extra pillows in one of the bedrooms and there were two throw blankets (I did not look in the other bedroom for extra bedding as my Dad was sleeping in there, so they could have been in there). Overall it was a great place that was as advertised. We appreciated the coffee as I mistakenly bought whole bean and would have missed my morning java! Thanks, Kelly!

Over Night Short Stay

Great Host and Over-All property. Very clean house but more attention needs to be taken in bathroom. Towel closet and bathroom loaded with long hair from past renters. Towels had hair all over them. Only things we were not fond of were the neighbors partying, loud music, and foul language with having 4 yr old with us. Also not a fan of the cameras! The feeling of right to privacy is infringed upon! Rented with assumption this was a single property but there are other rentals attached. Wasn’t an issue but had I known this in listing we wouldn’t have rented just due to personal preference. With all that being said was definitely worth price, freindly host, and very nice property.

Quick getaway

Family trip with teens and grandma. Beautiful home but unprepared for the gnats outside. Quiet location. Peaceful to sit outside around the fire pit. Kelly quickly responded to all questions and concerns. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table and grandma enjoyed the sunsets. Thank you for a great getaway!

A nice place to come home to!

I grew up in Wallkill, and had to return for a funeral. Kelly was super responsive to my questions, and she made booking with little advanced notice very easy. The house is super cute, clean, and well-equipped. Having a comfortable place to stay made a sad and difficult situation more bearable.
