"This is a decent little apartment right on the beach with nice views. The back sliding door windows facing the beach in Unit 2 are not clear because there is some residue of some sort on them blurring the view. Other units don't have this problem. Other than that, the proximity to the beach and views from other windows are great. The apartment is right on the highway so road noise is a factor, though on the ocean side, you will hear the ocean."

"My family has a beach house in Waldport and several family members were coming down for Memorial day. We needed extra room so we rented the Mermaids Lair. We really enjoyed our stay and enjoyed all the mermaids.The neighborhood was amazing so quiet and so close to the beach. It was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this house for families and froends."

"The house is amazing - walk out to the beach, view of the ocean from the top floor with the sounds of the waves throughout the house. We had a wonderful time. I did contact the property owner after we were in the house but did not get a response which surprised me. I am not sure if this property was passed to new owners as past reviews seemed quite favorable. The house was very dusty upon arrival and we took it upon ourselves to sweep the floors as they were not clean on the 1st and second...

"The location was fantastic! It was so easy to get everywhere. The cottage was outdated and a bit rundown, but it was nice and the beds were comfortable."

"Stayed here over New Years with my best friend and my daughter. My brother lives nearby and it was great to have this cozy little place to come back to after a busy day. Most memorable was curling up on the couch listening to the storm outside with the fireplace. Very comfy! The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked. And having 2 bathrooms was a god send. We were able to host a meal or two and that was fun. "

"Home overlooks the beach. Quiet and somewhat secluded. Nice deck. Home was very nice. Both bedrooms and main bath were on the 2nd floor (wonderful view of the beach to wake up to). I would definitely stay here again. "

"The location is amazing. The rooms are really cool. Gas fire place. Good coffee in the rooms. Amazing views. Really quiet and peaceful around the property. The people at the front desk/office are really nice and helpful. The only reason why I'm giving this four stars (instead of five) is because my room smelled like cats. That was the only negative thing about this place. There's no way for me to say if all the rooms have pet smells, but the studio room I stayed in smelled like cats which was...

"The location and quaint facilities are great. We didn’t need extra services but the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, we were surprised that the buildings and grounds are quite tired and weathered looking and although the rooms were clean and comfortable the carpet was dirty. Minor issues but worth noting. "

"Enjoyed it all right on the beach.. walking forever with the dog and friend at low tide just out the front door. Fabulous kitchen with a view. Jacuzzi tub in one bathroom, and awesome master bathroom with a view.Then to top it off a rooftop hot tub to star gaze while soaking.There was a little issue at check in and management responded immediately and took care of us so well… everything was perfect"
