"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we love it!! Very nice quiet town and this place is a hidden gem! Very clean, nice comfy beds and a beautiful kitchen! 2 bedrooms and a pull out sofa in the living-room. Just a 45 minute drive to Lake Wilson! The host is very nice and accommodating! We will be back! "

"Check in was easy, location was great, there was a grill with extra propane, the kitchen had everything we needed except for measuring cups and spoons..which we purchased and left for other guests. The host had some snacks out for us when we got there…which we appreciated because my husband and I had been on the lake and hadn’t eaten yet. Great accommodations."

"Really glad we chose to stay here. The little cabin had everything one would need and we enjoyed sending pictures to friends. Joan was great at answering any questions. We would stay here again when we're in the area."

"Decor is nice. Furniture is newer. Bath linens are higher end. Perfect space for 2, not 4. Nice size bed. Tiny bathroom that wouldn't be claustrophobic if larger than 200 lbs or taller than 6 ft. Super stuffy and hot on arrival (even though they are adamant about leaving the air conditioner at 74- it was over 80 with 1 window unit in living room). Bedroom was miserable in temp, until about 3A. No fans available. Why not? Not sure bed sheets were washed- crumbs that needed to be brushed off....

"This is the second time we have stayed at the Lawfts in Russell, KS. This property never disappoints and is our favorite place to stay while visiting relatives in the area. The full service kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, and bedrooms are nicely appointed and very clean. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. We will definitely choose this location once again when we are back in town. "

"The house was clean and very cozy. We went with 4 kids. It gave all of plenty of room. Can't wait to stay again."

"The house was very spacious, clean, and just as described in the listing. It's been really nicely remodeled with all the modern convenience, but retains its original feel. Beds were comfortable, everything was very clean. The location is a little off the beaten path, but worth the journey. We sat on the deck and watched the sun go down across the valley, listened to wild turkeys and coyotes howling. Very enjoyable stay, highly recommend!"

"We all loved it. The place was amazing, the owner was so nice and friendly. I loved that it was a law office and post it notes were still in a few books. Loved the brick walls, the big windows facing the street, and the deck. "

"I was driving from CO to my family in KC and wanted to half my trip so I found this listening. It was a nice little apartment with a comfortable bed and spacious living room. "

"Everything was great, although im not sure that the property fits 3 adults and a child. If the couch was a sofa bed or futon it would make more sense. Other than that it was cute, and comfortable. "

"The property itself wasn't awful, but it was not clear that there would be outside stairs, lots of them. The bathroom was TINY, there was mouse poop in the silverware drawer and all of the furniture except for the bed and kitchen chairs were super uncomfortable. I would not stay here again in the future "
