"We have a wonderful stay at this beautiful home near Waitsfield! It was comfortable and inviting and the kitchen had everything we needed to create a July 4th feast! The home was clean and spacious and very close to grocery stores and coffee shops and great restaurants. A 5 star vacation!"

"Great property! Clean, spacious, everything you need is there. Hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountains was sublime. Could use a TV over the fireplace in the 2nd living room. That room is so comfortable! Late check in 4pm and early check out 10am could be improved upon as well"

"We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). It was close to our venue, the Mad River Barn, too. The only downside (minor) was the steep stairwell to the second floor. There was no railing to guide guests. My 84-year-old mom...
