"Larchwood Motel is well located. However it is severely lacking in up-keep and maintenance. Upon entering the unit it was smelly - stale alcohol/smoke. We opened up the room (it was freezing) for 15 minutes or so to air it out. The curtains are shabby and ill fitting on some windows. "Finding the house driveway to the property was a nighmare..i think instructions would be helpful, as the property is on a main road but entrance is tucked away down another street and if you are unfamiliar with hamner it wasn't simple to find, I had to ask the hotel next door how to find it.Otherwise our stay was lovely, very warm house."

"Apart from the tight but reasonable access for our vehicle, the property was great. The fireplace was welcome for the cold days and nights - and the instructions were clear to follow for its maintenance. Rooms were cozy and easily met our needs. It was difficult to access some channels on the television - but I believe that may have been due to reception in the area."
