We booked this property for two nights expecting a one-bedroom unit, which was essential as we were traveling with a child.
About one hour before arrival, the host informed us that the couch does not convert into a bed. Upon arrival, it became clear that the seating was a love seat, not suitable for sleeping. The unit was also a studio, not a one-bedroom, which did not match the listing.
The overall condition of the unit was concerning. There were no clean sheets or bath/hand towels. In the closet, we found wet, dirty sheets and towels stored in garbage bags, which was very unhygienic. The only towels available were two beach towels that were torn, stained, and had a strong odor. The air conditioning unit showed visible mold, mildew, and heavy dust, and the balcony door did not lock, which raised safety concerns.
I tried several times to resolve the situation directly with the host, but communication was unsuccessful, and no solution was provided.
Because there was no safe sleeping arrangement for a child and the condition of the unit did not meet basic expectations, we decided not to stay at the property at all and had to arrange alternative accommodations.
This experience did not meet the standards described in the listing, and future guests should be aware.
