Honeycomb Container Home | "Pickleball Court!"

  • Try out container home living in this unique tiny home! Sleeps 2 people in the custom Murphy® bed with a super-comfy Tuft & Needle™ queen size mattress. Kitchen and dining area features induction cooktop, fridge and custom knotty alder tabletop. Hang out on the spacious rooftop deck that lights up beautifully at night with the color-adjustable LED rail lights. Full-size, custom tiled shower and spacious bathroom completes this fascinating container home.

    This unique home started as a 20’ shipping container. We insulated and paneled the interior in pine shiplap. The outside is clad with cedar siding with spacing to allow the original container to still be seen. Entry is through the original container doors. We removed the steel panels from the doors and replaced them with picturesque full glass. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights under the rail that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. The deck is accessed by a spiral staircase

    We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need including any questions on the house or your time in Waco.

    Great, safe neighborhood in the country just north of Waco. 5 minutes from I-35 and2 minutes from Homestead Cafe and Craft Village. Only 8 minute from the Waco airport.

    You can park right at the house and Uber is available.

Great Spot

The place was amazing. It was quaint, convenient location, and had it everything I needed for my stay. It included great amenities like the upper deck, a wonderful shower, and even streaming services available. I would definitely stay here again.

The tiny homes in this little community were so cute! It was the perfect get away! Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. About a 15 min drive from downtown Waco

Romantic getaway

We were so impressed. The Honeycomb Container was the perfect fit for our getaway. So relaxed, clean, easy access,no traffic or late night noises. We had the best time, and will stay here again. Multiple containers to choose from. Loved every minute of our stay.

Great weekend stay

Amazing little place for my wife and I. Very clean and exactly like the photos! Just outside of town and easy to get to. Host was very informative and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

This is the first time we have stayed in a tiny home. The place was great, but it was a bit too small for me and my wife. We knew that going in so that’s not their fault. We did enjoy the terrace and the bed was comfortable. Everything looked very nice in there.

Quick spring break getaway

My wife and I took a quick getaway to recharge and found this Honeycomb tiny house on the outskirts of Waco. The home was located within the Homestead Heritage community of Waco and is surrounded by other tiny homes of various sizes. The home itself was just as advertised -- very clean with an efficient use of space. Communication with management very responsive and they also proactively communicated (e.g., checkout requirements) when needed. It was very peaceful here and we definitely got the recharge we were looking for. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone looking to unplug or have the tiny home experience.

Cute, well decorated Storage Container home. Safe area and overall a good experience. Everything needed (essentials) provided and I loved being able to cool the unit as needed.Communication was great and the drawbacks were (more so because also traveling with my 16 year old son and we watch shows at night)-The TV was unplugged and the outlet it was supposed to plug into did not work, so we tried another outlet- however, the batteries were dead in the remote, the wifi was unaccessible, Our code to get in did not work, and we had a couple of issues with the alarm system. The owners notified us about a possible issue with the locks, so very attentive and gave us a different code to use.I didn’t mention the tv and internet because it was more of later in the night after the day and I didnt want to bother them.I can understand those items not being checked, etc, but I am including it as it was in the listing and had I brought work with me, I would have been able to complete my tasks.Overall, I do recommend! Thank you for the attentiveness with the lock and entry issue and the space was very lovely and ventilated well.

Wonderful customer service

Initially we checked in and discovered the unit had not been cleaned. Some other things were broken in the unit. Amos got right back with us when we let him know about the issue and moved us into a nearby container. The substitute was fantastic. We loved the view from the roof and how cozy and comfortable everything was. It’s a peaceful place and other guests are quiet. It felt like we were all alone on a property with many containers rented out. We had such a lovely experience and it was so easy communicating with the host that we decided to book another night. If you’re allergic to scents, we recommend you bring your own pillows and open the windows for a bit to allow for the air freshener and scented detergents to air out a bit. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the customer care provided. We will certainly be back!

7th wedding anniversary

Wonderful time. Hiked Cameron Park to Lovers Leap, sat up top and star-gazed. We’ll definitely do this again.

We loved this property! It was just a little smaller than we expected and closer to other properties than the pictures led on. But overall, we were very happy!

Lovely tiny home

We enjoyed our stay very much! Would definitely do this trip all over again and would make a great location for multiple couples to book since the homes are grouped together in the same property. Looking forward to our next trip!
