  • Enjoy the comfort of this townhouse in the heart of the village of Vouvray and its air-conditioned rooms with views of the countryside.
    Classified 3 stars by the Tours Tourist Office.

    Come and stay in this superb house completely renovated in the city center of Vouvray, a charming wine-growing village in the heart of the Loire Valley in direct proximity to the Loire Valley castles. Tastefully decorated, the house has all the facilities and comforts for a pleasant stay.

    The accommodation

    The house organized on 3 levels has been completely refurbished and tastefully decorated combining the old (antique pieces) and modern.

    It consists of:
    - On the first floor of a living room with a comfortable living room (library, TV and bluetooth speaker) with decorative fireplace, a dining table area and a kitchen made in an old orangery and very well equipped (gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, dolce gusto coffee maker, toaster and kettle, refrigerator, crockery, basic necessities...), a separate toilet

    - On the 1st floor, a parental area with an air-conditioned queen size bedroom (160), large bathroom (shower) and separate toilet

    - On the top floor, another air-conditioned bedroom for 3 people with quality and modular bedding (1 bed 160 + 1 bed 80) or (3 beds 80) and a small bathroom (bathtub)

    The house can accommodate a maximum of 5 people.

    Free street parking available.

    Accommodation not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Parfait sur tous les points, je recommande vivement.

Nous étions une famille de 5 et on s'est senti comme à la maison. Il faisait bon, la propreté impeccable, tout a été bien pensé, nous avons adoré ce séjour.

Perfect location in Vouvray for my son who was competing in the Iron Man in Tours. Just a 10 minute car journey. Vouvray is beautiful, peaceful, has an amazing Boulangerie and a fabulous Pizza restaurant and lovely Supermarket. Everyone so friendly and it’s so clean. Highly recommend this property. Easy to park the car in the road outside the property, perfect location, lovely comfy beds, towels provided and the added bonus of air con which we certainly needed as it was very hot. Host was lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again x

The house was ok for our 4 night stay, wouldn’t want to stay for longer. When I first booked, the details said there was “parking on site”, this is not the case and had to park on the road, and not outside the house. There was no mention in the details that the stairs are narrow, steep and winding up to the first and second floors, so anyone with slight mobility issues could struggle. The two bedrooms are on the first and second floors, and both have a bathroom next to them, but the two toilets are separate, not in the bathrooms. There is one toilet on the first floor and one directly off the kitchen on the ground floor (not a good idea really), so no toilet on the second floor, which means anyone staying there has to manage the stairs down, so dodgy in the middle of the night. I think this fact should be mentioned in the details.
