Col-Villa is one of the most significant, historic homes in Volcano Village, located within a hundred yards of the Volcano Village Farmer's Market and Cooper Center. Built in 1914 and lovingly restored to reflect today s standards of comfort, you will be a short walk to a few of the best restaurant s in Volcano Village or a 5 minute drive to Volcanos National Park with it s picturesque trails, galleries and fine dining.

Gem of a cottage in Volcano

We were smitten with this house. Beautifully simple, clean, and pretty cottage in the rural village of Volcano. 5-10 mins from the National Park. Very comfortable mattress. Cozy sheets and blankets. Cleaner than any other place I’ve ever seen in Hawaii. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Perfect location for visiting National Park

True Hawaii

Col-Villa is an amazing property with an ideal location to explore Volcano National Park and the Hilo side of the island. This vintage Hawaiian home has modern amenities that reflects the owners attention to detail and it's historical past. The king bed was super comfortable and everything in the home was upscale. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Rainforest magic

This is the place to be if you’re staying Volcano Village! Col-Villa is a well cared for historic home with lots of charm, minutes from Volcano National Park. The sounds of rainforest birds greet you in the morning. When it was too rainy for the park, we were able to enjoy the fireplace and cooking in the kitchen. Kirk was very kind and responsive, and left a great guide in the home with restaurant recommendations in the Village. Could not recommend this place enough!

Quiet retreat near Volcano National Park

This is a charming and historic home near the park. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood which was delightful as well. The bathroom was a little tight but there were towel warmers in the bedrooms with luxurious towels. Overall, a lovely experience.

Mountain retreat

This property was amazing. Perfect location to everything I wanted to do on the big island. The house was bigger than I thought. The pictures do not do it justice. This was really an amazing spot and worth every penny.

Fantastic Vacation

We had a fabulous time in hawaii. Col Villa was absolutely wonderful. The house is beautiful. We walked around the neighborhood often, it was lovely, The house is next door to the park. AWESOME. We highly recommend this home. We absolutely would stay here again.

Wonderful Volcano Hale

Love this traditional Hawaiian split-level hale! Impeccably and tastefully remodeled and decorated! Fabulous management; so easy to work with. Happy to recommend it, and would certainly stay here again!
