"This hotel is badly in need of maintenance and perhaps new management. The stairway carpets looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks and must have been over 10 years old. "Was looking forward to staying here based on reviews and pics of the property. Turned out to be a super disappointing experience.
Our kitchenette wasn't cleaned before us. It was gross. The dishes were still wet with food on them from the people before and none of the pots and pans were washed. I washed them all. Its also really insanitary to expect guests to hand wash dishes for the next guests. Most hotels with kitchenettes have a dishwasher.

"The staff were lovely, but the cleaning staff didn't seem to want to refill the cup supply or the ice bags, and I was there a week and a half. The room's carpet was gross, the ice machine on the 3rd flr was broken (how hard is it to get that fixed?) and the breakfasts were okay. Shout out to the staffer who kept the buffet in such good shape."

"My stay at El Conquistador was fabulous from the moment I arrived. The staff that checked us in were attentive and informative. One thing to keep in mind is that the nearest parking lot may not be located close to your room, requiring a bit of a walk. I am sure if you asked the front desk they would send someone to assist you. You can arrange a golf cart ride from staff to anywhere on the property.
