"Property has lots of character and charm. We enjoyed the infinity pool, kayaking, crabbing from the dock and daily walks. The property is in a fairly remote location but we found that to be a plus. It was a great place to decompress and enjoy nature. The property owner was very responsive at booking and check-in. The only downsides to the property for us were that you had to walk through one bedroom to get the other bedroom and the WIFI was slow. Outside of that we really enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!"

"This home sits right on the water! It is beautiful! We watched ships roll by, ducks bobbing on the water, and flocks of geese flying and landing on the water. The view from both lower and upper decks are amazing! We spent lots of time on the decks even though it was cold - we just covered ourselves with blankets. The hosts are wonderful people, always kind and patient, and gave great recommendations on shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. They were very communicative and answered all my...

"My husband, myself, my 9 year old son, and my 5 year old dog stayed this past weekend at this property. We all loved it SO much - my son especially loved all the fun things there were to do inside the property alone. My dog loved the fenced in yard, but also the area in general is extremely dog friendly - which is a lot different where I'm from. Very clean property - one of the cleanest I have stayed. "A charming and cozy cottage right on the water - caught and ate crabs every day and loved kayaking down the creek through the serene marshland!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet that this home provided. We weren't lucky enough to catch any fish but were able to catch about a dozen blue crabs! This home provided everything you might need to get away for a while and decompress! "

"We had the BEST family vacation yet! This house was perfect for our family of 4 plus in-laws and a sibling. Everyone had thier own space. So many places on the property to go and relax. The pier was my favorite. We had the best time catching blue crabs, kayaking and enjoying the hot tub. The kitchen was PERFECT to make breakfast for everyone while watching them fish and play outside. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay. "
