"The grounds were beautiful! We loved the waterfall and stream! There were wild blackberries along the trail to the waterfall. The owner was friendly and accommodated us when we had to extend our stay due to car trouble. There are several cool projects he's working on. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Bigfoot Lodging Cottage #2 It’s a very authentic cabin in the woods experience. The original vintage wood interior and squeaky wood floors added a lot to the ambiance. Plenty of outdoor space for grilling steaks or making campfire s’mores. "We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...

"My wife and I stayed at this property for a thanksgiving getaway. It is conveniently located close to Redding and Lassen National Park (unfortunately the park was mostly closed due to snow when we were there). The living space is comfortable with large windows letting in light and giving a view of the trees. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, spices, etc. the property owner/manager was very responsive and communicative. Thanks!"
