"Very friendly and accommodating owner"

"Staff was very helpful and property has a small gym and a pool. Rooms have a mini fridge which was helpful. Room was missing hand soap and it seemed like the shower had not been cleaned."

"I paid $1,395.65 for a 2 week stay and they took $100 out of my bank without telling me they were doing it and never gave it back. Claimed smoking in room when there was no smoking in room. Also only stayed for a week instead of 2 and got ghosted when asking for refund for the week that was not used."

"Convenient to Lake George area. Property could use some updates. It seems there were several people who were long term tenants in a separate wing across the parking lot. No one bothered us and the building we were in was quiet. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay."

"An OK place for the money."

"Breakfast was supposed to be included. closet door off track cockroach in bathroom. Workers blocking entry to hotel and loud clanging of extension ladders being moved or taken down."

"We stayed at the Birches Motel over the weekend since we were visiting Skidmore College and were looking for a more affordable option that was still close to Saratoga Springs and would be comfortable and clean. We were not disappointed at all and really enjoyed out stay! The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, the staff were very helpful in adding new breakfast cards each morning. The location is excellent (only about a 10-minute drive into town) and we would definitely stay here again!"

"First of all there is a window where everyone walking by could look in only one curtain panel ha to take cloths hanger to stretch the curtain so people could not look in. The walkway on second floor to get to room was all uneven, tore up carpeting. My handicap daughter tripped and fell because it was not stable to walk on. I myself almost fell. The room did not have enough towels and just the overall condition of the bathrooms or disgusting. The bathroom was filthy. I would not recommend anyone...
