"We enjoyed our stay in the cabin! The cabin was well equipped with all necessities. It was nice sitting in the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch and looking out into the woods from the back. Only problem was the mosquitos but there was a can of OFF under the bathroom sink! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and calm vacation that is in close proximity to state park with hiking trails. 20 minute drive to Walmart but it seemed faster."

"We had a nice stay in the house and the owner was very helpful and responsive. The house was cozy and comfy. My kids loved the “chill” room where the recliners were. Had everything we needed as well. Thank you! "

"Overall the stay was pretty good. We were visiting the area for a family reunion, and my family is huge and loud, so it was really nice to have a quiet spot to come home to. I loved the quiet, the house was very quaint and cute, nearest neighbors were close enough to see but too far to hear. Plenty of space for us to stretch out. Hubby loved sitting on the patio watching the wildlife and fireflies, me not so much, lol. That was the only negative for me; the bugs...it was manageable, but if youre...

"Tucked into the woods and absolutely beautiful home. The host has made this home comfortable from all aspects. Everyone was more than comfortable in their beds and slept soundly. The back has a peaceful deck that you can soak up nature! Cannot say enough positive things about it.Our five-day stay exceeded every expectation! "Perfect spot for a weekend stay in Martinsville. Our black tie event was at the National Museum of History so this location was exactly what I needed. The salon for my hair and nails was in the same building. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare my vegan dishes. I hope it’s available every time I visit home. "

"We really enjoyed staying here with our nephews! Everything was comfortable inside and outside. We enjoyed time on the porch, feeding the chickens, fishing in the pond and more.. The fresh eggs were fantastic. This was a peaceful and relaxing home away from home. Plenty of things to do in the area for young and older. We would stay here again. Our nephews started calling it home here "
