Luxury Log Cabin in Excellent Location! RidgeView is in a picturesque log cabin community located just 1/2 mile off of Highway 105 (main road to all the High Country attractions). It is professionally decorated with a rustic mountain feel. You will love the surrounding mountain views, the wrap-around porch with rocking chairs, 2 kings beds & 3 queen beds, 2 den areas with leather sectional sofas, 3 large screen Smart HDTVs, and a fantastic family area with large fire pit and picnic table!

This luxury log cabin is in an ideal location! It is very secluded but only 1/2 mile off Highway 105 (the main thoroughfare to all High Country attractions). It is only 2-3 miles to Appalachian State University!!!

RidgeView is a large log cabin (almost 2,000 sq. ft.) that is rustic and offers luxury elegance. It is a newly renovated and professionally decorated log cabin.

As you enter the cabin you will find an open layout with a kitchen, dining area, and den. The kitchen has new granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances (with a double oven). The den has a large leather sectional sofa in front of the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with a 65" Smart HDTV over the mantel. The Restoration Hardware farm table comfortably seats 10; great for dining, games, and times of visiting with family and friends.

The Master Bedroom is on the main level and comes with a King bed, 55" Smart KDTV and private bathroom. Also, the laundry (washer/dryer) is on this same level.

Upstairs is another King Bedroom, a large room with two Queen beds and another den area with a leather sectional sofa (with Queen sleeper sofa).

RidgeView is good for couples, families (with kids), business travelers, and groups. Our place is close to mountains, waterfalls, rivers and lakes, hiking and biking trails, golf, restaurants, horseback riding, wineries, skiing, tubing, sledding, whitewater rafting, and more.

This is a perfect location for all the High Country has to offer. Whether you want to ski, hike or sit on the deck and enjoy the view, RidgeView is as good as it gets! Everything is new, clean and much attention has been given to every detail.

The community has a playground area located on a mountain creek, a covered picnic area and a waste collection area. Across the street from the entrance to the community is Willow Creek Golf Course, open to the public.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was. The owners clearly take great pride in maintaining the property, and it made our stay incredibly comfortable.The location couldn’t have been better — perfectly situated between Boone and Banner Elk, and just a short drive to tons of great attractions, restaurants, hiking spots, and scenic overlooks. It was the ideal home base for exploring the High Country.The cabin itself was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Every room felt cozy and inviting, with charming touches that made it feel like a true mountain retreat. It struck the perfect balance between rustic and modern.The host (John) was an excellent communicator, we stayed in contact throughout the trip.

5 stars. Cabin was perfect. One of the best places we’ve rented. It had everything we needed. Beautiful kitchen with high end appliances. Gas fireplace was nice. All the tv’s were smart tv’s so they were easy to operate. Felt secluded even though there are other cabins around you. Very quiet and peaceful area. Close to everything and cabin was easy to get to.

If you're looking for a beautiful, cozy, very well decorated cabin not far from the heart of Boone, look no further. This cabin is all you need! The driveway up to the cabin is not a problem at all. The host is very responsive and helpful when needed. Kitchen is well stocked. Upstairs shower is a dream! Would definitly stay here again!

When we got there Saturday, the cleaning was not complete. The lady was still there cleaning and didn’t get done until around 6pm. She apologized repeatedly. But that was two hours past our scheduled check in time! Tuesday afternoon, a lady came knocking on the door as we are sitting there relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness on our last day there. She said she was the owner ( don’t know if she actually was or not) and was there to blow the leaves off of the porch. She couldn’t have waited until we were gone the scheduled check out day, which was the next morning??? Anyway, she was there around an hour, blowing the porches and yard, going over them multiple times! We had the door open and watching tv but was having trouble hearing over her leaf blower. I went and closed the door and she seen me close it. I guess she got the hint after that because she left shortly after. If we had not been there, would she have came in and gone through the cabin??? After that, we decided to pack up and leave. Both incidents were very unprofessional. The cabin was beautiful but I’m not sure we would rent it again because of the those incidents.

Great Location!

Such a great location and easy to access 105 and Boone! House was comfortable and well appointed. Floorplan was perfect for a family. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the firepit and rockers.
