"This property served as the perfect place for a secluded getaway for a larger group. All the charm of an old church beautifully renovated with lots of bedrooms, and a very spacious common area with various hang out areas and large kitchen. Lots of outdoor deck space overlooking endless barrens and ocean views.The host is always very quick to reply with any questions."

" We had a great 2-night stay from July 26-28! The place offered fantastic views and was conveniently close to some excellent hiking trails. Communication with the host was smooth and consistent throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that the location is a bit far from most attractions and amenities, but having a rental car made it manageable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again!"

"Comfy and close to everything. We spent two nights here and enjoyed the barbecue and firepit. Our host was very helpful with suggestions for places to visit. "

"The cottage was beautifully kept and like a step back in time as soon as we walked in the door. We did the short walk to the beach and the walk to the overalls, and both were beautiful! We had a great time and would definitely recommend it. "

"I loved this place. I am particular, however I love eclectic. Perfect. Pauline our host has done a great job making this home comfortable for her guests."

"A great house in a great central location for exploring. Everything was as advertised and we had everything we needed. Port de Grave is a beautiful little fishing village within walking distance, as is Green Point Lighthouse. We stayed for 4 days and did day trips to Bonavista, around the Irish Loop, and to Cape Fear before an evening in Quidi Vidi and St. John's. This is a great spot if you want to see lots without having to move houses. We visited Mad Rock Cafe in Bay Roberts for lunch...

"The location was excellent and we loved being on the ocean. We were fortunate to see many whales from the back deck. The home had everything you needed for an extended stay. Just bring clothes, food and refreshments!"

"This home was lovely. It was beautifully appointed and in a beautiful location. Looking out the window at Cupids Cove, fishing boats, whales, eagles and other birds was entertaining. Owners were attentive and responded quickly though there really were no issues. We loved our vacation there. "

"Well we got to the house that we had rented. Unfortunately the house was locked up. The house was not ready for us or anyone. The person who put it up for rent did not communicate to their spouse. Fortunately a neighbor across the road let us stay in her house."

"The house was completely comfortable (all the amenities of home) with that private back veranda looking over the bay !Beautiful. It was ideally located to visit the coves of Conception Bay and the southern tip of Trinity Bay. Lovelyhiking trails - the Shoreline Heritage Walk in next-door Bay Roberts was a particular favorite. Thank you for a marvelous week !"
