Upscale Character Home with Luxurious Amenities

The best of Victoria's character home charm and modern west coast living style by Swan Lake. This separate Lower Level home is bright, airy space with 9 foot ceilings; large bedrooms with walk in closets; all while affording an open concept. Beautiful wide hallways with wainscoting, crown molding, and curved arches. A focal feature of this home is the floor to ceiling rock-faced fireplace, finished with a live edge mantel. The kitchen boasts premium SS appliances perfect for the avid home chef.

This updated Lower Level Character Home is both private and quiet. Both cool in the summer and warm in the winter, the home has 9 foot ceilings, heated tiled floors in both the kitchen and bathroom, completely updated from floor to ceiling. Both the Master bedroom and the second bedroom offer walk in closets to stow away one's luggage and all that one can pack in it The luxurious bathroom has an abundance of linen and towels, a separate laundry and loads of led lighting. One can either enjoy the soaker tub for relaxing or for the shower lovers, a beautiful rain shower awaits you. The home has been both a pet and smoke free home. There is a separate upper 3000 sq. ft. home above. This home has undergone extensive sound proofing from above and below.

The private rear yard and the entire front yard are available for guests to enjoy.

One of our gracious hosts will personally greet you and provide an overview of the home. We are also available as required via phone/email to respond to any questions or concerns.

Centrally located between downtown, ferries, and YYJ airport yet tucked away in the blissfully quiet neighbourhood of Swan Lake with stunning views! With a nature reserve directly across the street, there is no shortage of beautiful wildlife including humming birds, deer, and bunnies; leaving one feeling at home in a true nature sanctuary. Located only minutes by car or bike to Elk and Beaver lake, 10 -12 minutes from Thetis lake, 15 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to the ferry and only 10 minutes to downtown in the busiest traffic we have. A perfect and ideal location to enjoy nature, the city and when ready to get away from the noise, hustle and bustle of downtown Victoria, you will enjoy the space to sit back and relax.

While centrally located in the middle of the best of what Victoria has to offer. Ideally a car would allow for easy transport, there are several bus stops a short walk from the neighbourhood. We will gladly provide recommendations on the best sites to see, the best restaurants to eat at and maps of trails, lakes and areas of interest.

Feel free to use the Epicure spices, oils and other condiments suppled for your cooking pleasures.
- Absolutely No Shoes to be worn in the house- no exceptions.
- Quiet Hours 11pm-7am as per local bylaws.
- No Smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. No exceptions.
- No Parties or Events
-Only number of guests registered are allowed to stay overnight or on property. (Exception for day guests may be allowed)
-Please do not roll or drag luggage across the wood floors as they can scratch easily.
-Checkout time of 11 am is an absolute must. We will gladly offer a later checkout, if it is available. Just as we asked the guest before you to check out in a timely manner so that we could prepare the space for you, we ask that you extend the same courtesy to the guest that follows you. Thank you for your understanding.

Great 2-bedroom unit. Looks recently renovated, spotless clean and well stocked. From bedding (pillows and blankets) to all kinds of kitchen tools and gadgets, including various cooking basics (salt, pepper, spices and oils), plus various condiments. Best stocked place I’ve stayed at. Lots of closet space too. Tea, coffee and even fresh cream included. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Gerry has a lovely lower level space in a suburban neighborhood. If you like to cook, the kitchen was stocked with many spices, oils, coffee, and condiments making it much easier for visitors. Top notch materials throughout. Large windows keep it from feeling like a basement apartment.

10/10 for a sparkling clean apartment with the most fully equipped kitchen. BBQ and patio. Nature walk around lake just down the road. Close drive to shops. Kids playground a few minutes walk. Comfortable beds (5th & 6th person, if applicable, are on a blow up mattress in living/dining). Enjoyed our three nights.

I booked the suite as it appeared to be close to the Peakes arena where we were playing in a hockey tournament. It was a great quiet location, and easy access to the arena. It was well equipped, had sufficient parking and served our needs. I would definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and Gerry’s place is hands down the most well stocked we’ve ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and you cannot beat the location. Easy access to bike trails and the highway. Groceries 6 mins away. Gerry was a fantastic host. Thank you!

The unit itself was beautiful a very lovely "Show home" As we had small children we were visiting it was not condusive to entertaining them at the unit which was a draw back for us only. I would however recommend the unit to my friends who have older family members to deal with. Thank you

The property exceeded our expectations, and the owner went above and beyond to make our family holiday exceptional. Even accommodating us when we had to adjust our dates due to weather. The lower home is beautifully finished and well equipped with everything needed to prepare our holiday dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the space is large, warm and bright. Our first Christmas together with family after CoVid was perfect and enjoyed by all. Thank you Gerry.

We had a lovely stay here and highly recommend it. We spent time each day at the nature sanctuary of Swan Lake and loved walking all the trails. If you are planning to cook you’ll have every single thing you might need in terms of kitchen equipment. Lovely table with space for 6 to eat comfortably!

Everything went smoothly and we were very pleased with Gerry's VRBO premises. So many nice features and amenities, it was absolutely spotless and everything was modern and completely stocked. We brought our own breakfast meals and left for the days/eves and appreciated everything else we needed was there. First class all the way and as we were leaving, Gerry was completing a beautiful outdoor fountain and fire feature. Gorgeous spot, highly recommended. Thank you!!!
