Experience laid-back lake life when you stay at this Vian vacation rental! Surrounded by tall trees, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin is the perfect secluded home base for your next adventure. You’ll be less than a mile from the lake and 2 boat ramps and you’ll have easy access to great fishing spots along the Illinois River. You can also hike around Greenleaf State Park or many of the other trails nearby. After a day out, have a BBQ on the grill and gather around the fire pit with your loved ones!

Nice quiet spot to getaway.

Great little semi-secluded place to stay. It was nice and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Not the easiest property to locate

We did have some difficulties locating the Property but once there it was so peaceful and beautiful! It fit all our needs I would definitely stay again!

Nature is calling you

If you’re looking to get out of the city’s this is the place you should book! It’s a little secluded and the neighbors up the hill are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. My girlfriend and I were looking for something like this and it’s just what we needed to rest and relax! We would and probably will book again!

Wonderful time to refect, fish and eat pizza(Pasti) Andolini's does not raise a candle to this Italian Restaurant. This has got to be the best pizza this side of the Mississippi. All thier food is amazing!

Peaceful Place!

Just wanted a quiet place To relax and enjoy a fire pit with friends. Wasn’t disappointed! Very well decorated, well stocked, comfortable beds, loved the deck and porch swing. Host was so very helpful! Will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing fall break

We thoroughly enjoyed our fall getaway. The house was beautiful, clean, well lit, and comfortable. We spent most of our time by the fire pit or romping in the woods. We walked to the nearby "island" and collected interesting rocks. The weather was crisp but sunny. Every slept great and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Easy check in and check out. Thanks for sharing your house!

Cosy Cottage

The house was cute, clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking our coffee and enjoying the breeze. We watched several of the videos, but we couldn’t figure out any TV access. The driveway was a surprise! It is very steep, but we did manage to navigate it. All in all we were pleased with our stay.

Weekend Staycation

We really enjoyed the cabin. The wrap around porch was great to either enjoy morning coffee or a night cap. The porch paired with the scenery of trees and a very sizable back yard area were great! Also the living and dining area were quite sizable compared to expectation. We had brought our boat down and it worked out fine. You do need to park the boat on the top side of drive where they have terraces in which they explained that thoroughly in the description. Overall very cozy, comfy, and a great stay for my family and myself!

Comfy/Cozy Cabin

We had a lovely stay at this cabin in the woods. This restful place was just what needed to unwind from day to day life. The location is beautiful, we were there just as the fall leaves were changing color. We ate at a wonderful restaurant that felt like food my grandma could have made called "Emily's tea room" in Gore. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked a couple of meals at the cabin as well. My husband was able to go flyfishing at the river close by. We both enjoyed the hike to the river area. This cabin was clean, comfy and cozy.
