Watch the dolphins from the comfort of this modern Paradise Retreats home situated directly on the beach. Miles of sandy beaches form the Mussel Shoals neighborhood, an exclusive enclave that features direct beach access, unobstructed ocean views, and the most amazing sunsets you’ve ever seen. A surfers paradise, you’re next to the world-renowned Rincon Point and “Little Rincon” which hosts annual surf competitions. You’ll also be located directly between Santa Barbara and Ventura with a short drive bringing you the best of both beach towns. Ojai is also a short drive away!

This 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom oceanfront home has been completely renovated into an architecturally stunning modern art piece. Walls of glass create calming ocean-oriented interiors with open-concept living. The Primary Suite is on the second floor featuring a large corner window to take advantage of the coastline and Anacapa Island views. Outside on the beach terrace, enjoy the sounds of the surf while dipping in the infinity pool or spa and watching the surfers and dolphins catch waves. A brand new bike path along the coast takes you all the way to Rincon Point. After beach-combing, surfing, bike riding, or just taking in the views, enjoy a stroll down the street to the Shoals Restaurant for a bite.

Gorgeous ocean view from living area, patio, primary suite! New patio furniture! Well appointed kitchen. Pet-friendly. Location!! Ample quality linens, paper products, soaps, etc. Plenty of storage Just a few steps to beach, tide pools, and delicious Shoals Restaurant. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful sunsets! Property management very responsive and helpful. Pool and spa need a bit of attention. Overall a lovely property and fantastic location!!!

We loved our stay here - the views of the ocean are incredible and we really enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves.The house is very spacious and it was great to have ensuite bathrooms for us all. The house was also well-equipped, including beach towels and beach chairs. There are amazing beaches within easy reach, including the one at Mussel Shoals you can walk to. The house is also not too far from Santa Barbara, Carpinteria and Ojai for days out. We also enjoyed a couple of meals at the Cliff House Inn on the Ocean at short stroll from the house.

Incredible

We frequently stay in Mussel Shoals, but this was our first time at this particular home. It was stunning and perfect in every way. Our kids stayed 4 houses down the street, our parents stayed in Montecito and our best friends stayed at the Cliff House Inn making for a marvelous weekend….Beautiful weather, a great surf, easy living and love in the air. So conveniently located near great shopping and delicious restaurants plus not too far from the airport. Couldn’t have asked for more!

On the water

Amazing views! Awesome layout of the house! Downstairs has a huge slider that opens up to the ocean. The master bedroom was perfect. Our two children had their own rooms and bathrooms. The pool was a little small. But what do you expect… you’re literally on the water. We hung out in the pool almost all day. Watching the ocean and the dolphins. Absolutely recommend this place!

Perfect Family Getaway

Perfect getaway location. Amazing views from a great property. Filled with interesting artwork, and comfortable furnishings. Kitchen stocked with every gadget one could need. Pool and spa added to the relaxing space. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful House

The house is beautiful and super clean had everything we needed, the manager also brought an iron literally couple hour after we asked for it. Would highly recommend for families. Keep in mind after 9pm the neighbors don’t want any noise or loud music.

A Beautiful Seaside Escape!

A group of girlfriends and I visited in early June. The house is beautiful--we especially enjoyed the views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the living space was great for a big group. We saw seals, dolphins, and starfish while there. Unique beach below, but it's rocky and slippery. Nearby beaches were better for walking. The hot tub was used daily but note that it is pretty small and the pool, while beautiful is narrow. Still, we were grateful for the time drinking coffee in the hot tub. The Cliffhouse nearby was good (and pricey) for dinner - otherwise, nothing within walking distance. Need a car to really enjoy the space. Easy drive to SB airport and Ventura.

Gorgeous ocean stay

The house was lovely and the pool/hot tub overlooking the ocean was truly a treat. The ocean view from the master bedroom was also a favorite place to be. The neighbors were friendly and the setting was quiet and peaceful. The property management was responsive and easy to work with. Definitely a great family vacation place.

Perfect Get-a-way spot

Five ladies met up for a vacation. We did not want to dine out every meal so we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, great pasta, salad and charcuterie platters with an amazing view! Coffee and breakfast with an ocean breeze is always a plus. Plenty of space. Amazing even with only 5 how there's times one needs to work ( dining table or desk upstairs) or read/nap on many choices of sofa/couches up or downstairs. Super clean. We easily visited Montecito and Summerland for some strolling, shopping and dining.

Amazing views

The house is gorgeous and the views can’t be beat. You can walk to the restaurant one direction and the beach the other. The water heater went out and they responded quickly to repair. One note is the pool isn’t really a pool, more of a plunge pool…. Or bird bath…. That’s how the seagulls treated it! We enjoyed ourselves greatly, cooking and enjoying the deck.
