"Absolutely fabulous boutique hotel B&B in Paso. We stayed for Grad weekend and it was perfect. Serene setting - lovely wine, big big rooms (we brought a queen airbed for our daughters and had plenty of room). Nice cooked breakfasts. They serve their own Summerwood wine and it was v v good. Ask about wine club membership if you stay there! Angie and Desiree were brilliant hosts."

"This Motel really exceeded our expectations. It is a super cute property and the room was adorably decorated. I loved hanging out in the hammock first thing in the morning when it was still cool outside, and by the fire pit in the evening when the temperatures dropped as well. The pool area was amazing - no shortage of very comfortable seating with access to the bar and restaurant - so nice that it is restricted to 21 and older! "Melody Ranch Motel is consistently clean and comfortable. Parking right outside the room. Wonderful location in downtown Paso!"

"It was a good location. That's why we chose it. But it was very "bare bones." The soap/shampoo in the shower was awful. There was a smell of smoke even though I thought we had a non smoking room. And when we woke up there was no hot water. It was remedied after my husband went to speak to the front desk. I would say the bathroom.waa clean but the shower has mold in it."

"Room was clean, has refrigerator and microwave. Smells good, too. Facilities looked very well maintained, almost still all new-looking. Breakfast was great. Good proximity to everything you would like to do in Paso Robles. Only down side is the price, seems steep for the area. Same price almost as Hilton and Sheraton."

"Upon check-in, there were problems with the front desk. The usual desk clerk was not available, so another family member stepped in to assist (we were told). He was not familiar with the computer system, so that took long. Though I got into the lobby first, he helped another lady who came in afterwards (and I found out later that she was there a half hour earlier and the man was not able to assist her yet). The check-in process took a half hour. The desk clerk kept answering phone calls, which...

"The breakfast was very nice, the staff was excellent. We stayed four days. My husband and I have stayed many times before. However this visit the elevator was out the entire time. My husband and I both have physical disabilities, so getting to the third floor for breakfast was a real problem. I wish I would have checked or have been notified before our stay that the elevator was not working. In addition the ice machine was also out of order.☹️"

"Beautiful historic hotel with lots of personality. Nice size bathroom and generous size room with a bathtub. Minor complaint is the pillows need to be refreshed. Front desk staff are friendly and efficient. They have some gift items and tasty chocolate bars for sale. Easy to park right around the hotel."
