Overview:
This listing is for a completely renovated 600SF ground floor 1/1 on a quiet dead-end street near the South Venice Yacht Club. The property has spacious 10 foot ceilings throughout a large living/dining/kitchen common area, bedroom with a king bed and walk-in-closet, and a brand new bathroom fitted with a high-end shower. There is laundry on-site and a caged pool + hot tub. Many award winning beaches, parks, and restaurants are close. You will not find a better deal so book today and come enjoy the sun!

Space:
This property is an 1800SF top-down duplex located about 500 feet from Caspersan Beach/the Gulf of Mexico although the inter-coastal waterway seperates the neighborhood from it. The South Venice Yacht Club is four houses down the street which has a free kayak launch spot (two single kayaks are included in your booking), less than a mile away is Shamrock Park which has miles of walking/biking trails along the inter-coastal in addition to basketball/tennis courts, and five different beaches are within a 20 minute drive. There are tons of local restaurants (the guide book has recommendations), shopping, state parks, and activities within a stone's throw. The property is as far from US41 as you can be in the neighborhood which means it is fairly quiet most of the time-particularly at night when you can hear the ocean waves crashing against Caspersen Beach.

As for the duplex itself, it has a 1200SF top floor 2/2 unit and a 600SF ground floor 1/1 unit (this listing). Also downstairs is a large garage used for owner storage and laundry. Behind the house is a caged 25'x10' non-heated pool for hot days and an inflatable hot tub for colder days. There is a three-car-wide 100' long driveway in front. The two units are sound-proofed to the best of owner's abilities (5/8" drywall, 10" of insulation, two layers of subfloor totaling 1.25", and two foam sheets before flooring) and completely independent from each other except for sharing the pool, driveway, and laundry. It is very rare that both units want to use the pool at the same time but there is space to accommodate up to ten people if needed.

Access:
You will have a keypad locked front door and a manually locked back door. You will have access to the whole property except the other rental unit, although keep in mind that the garage is to be used as an emergency exit, laundry only-it is primarily meant to be owner's storage for owner's multiple rental properties. The large driveway will allow you to park as many cars as you need easily. The location allows you to be out on US41 in three minutes, I75 in ten minutes. You will be about 90 minutes from Tampa, an hour from Fort Myers so either airport is fairly close.

Other:
Owner is a professional landlord/property manager with ten years of experience who lives in the same neighborhood. You will most likely be greeted upon arrival so any quick questions/recommendations can be satisfied. After that, if you have an issue, you can text and will almost certainly receive a quick response.
The property has several beach chairs, two beach towels, a small shark tooth sifter, a beach umbrella, two single kayaks, and other property available for guest use. If you need anything else, within reason, owner will provide it or let you know where you can rent it.
Please note that like nearly ever property in the area, this one is on well/septic. This means that the water will have an odor to it, but I test the quality every 6 months and said quality has always been well inside CDC standards for safe drinking water. For better taste, I recommend guests use bottled water for coffee/any other mixed drinks. Also, the septic system must only have human waste and toilet paper in it ever, no wipes/hygiene products or the repair costs will be in thousands. Lastly, be aware there are eight security cameras monitoring owner storage areas and exterior areas, none are present inside guest spaces.

The Venice property fit the description overall to the accuracy of the room, bathroom, living room and hot tub. The pool looked either dirty or incomplete work me and my brother didn't swim in the pool once. The only other bad thing I can say about the property was the upstairs neighbors as they were loud during quiet times and sleep. But my overall experience and satisfaction was awesome and the home owner did there job to there best.

We stayed in the bottom floor. The decor is a light splash of coastal decor with tones of beige and natural textile. Plenty of parking space for 1st and 2nd floor guests. The house is in a quiet location. When the waves are rolling, you can hear them off in the distance, which was a refeshing sound to take-in. No real complaints. The description mentions it's on a well, which the water can give off a slight boiled egg/sulfur odor. I didnt find it off-putting and have lived with a home that used well water. You hear the people upstairs walking around, but that's to be expected and didn't bother us. It was awesome having the beaches just minutes away and the food in the area is good. We went to Pinchers, a seafood restaurant, for dinner. I'd recommend going there. Overall, wonderful experience. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Ryan’s place. The apartment was clean and spacious. We loved the tv with streaming, the ability to do our laundry and the location. We biked almost every day. The house is located 2.68 miles from the beach! Shamrock Park with the Venetian Waterway Trail is about a mile away. The neighborhood is quiet and close to lots of shopping options.

This place is great !! Exactly as advertised, check in was a breeze and the manual was full of great local recommendations. Neighborhood was quiet and safe and very convenient . We have nothing but good things to say & will definitely stay here again when we in the area

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to the beach for shark tooth hunting. However, our only complaint is the mattress in the bedroom. It was very uncomfortable. We would have most definitely slept in the master bed instead of the pull out couch.

I was visiting the area for the first time. I was very impressed by this very clean and well equipped VRBO in a quiet residential area! Ryan was a wonderful host, giving considerate thought to what any traveler would need during a stay to the area. This is a big plus if you are flying in! Ryan was very responsive and open communication was great! Provided a great 411 info./ instruction binder on the property and also connected in person at the property to make sure everything is going well and answer any questions. The space itself had well appointed furniture and upgraded bathroom features. There have been many improvements made to the property. Great wi-fi and streaming. The property was maintained well and I had no issues with anything. Very inviting pool and wonderful relaxing hot tub. I had a very relaxing time and I would stay here again! Thank you so much Ryan!

Our family had a great stay at the small property. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The owner was very hospitable and made sure we had what we needed during our stay. There were many beaches that we enjoyed we found shark teeth and clear water. One restaurant I was suggest is Briandi's, it's a local Italian restaurant it was amazing! Hope we get the chance to return.

A very good location to stay at while in Venice, Florida. Beautiful beaches are minutes away from this location. Everything you need is at location, and property manager (Ryan) was very helpful. Multiple restaraunts and attractions are minutes from this residence.

This property definitely has 5 star potential. Owner is still working daily on some improvements, but staying here was very comfortable. Unit had great kitchen, new bath and comfortable bed . Main room Furniture very comfortable as well . Closet is open and shelved w good lighting . Unit very clean . Washer dryer handy Great location in quiet older neighborhood. .
