  • La casetta di Foscolo is a place that ensured a comfort and well equipped experience. Placed in a quiet area just a few minutes walking from the main places of Venice such as San Marco and Rialto. This apartment is surrounded by many activities and restaurants. This is the perfect choice for families with kids given the tools made available precisely thought for children.

    The apartment is on the ground floor and it has a main bedroom, an open spaced living room connected with the kitchen.

    Comfort is guaranteed by the followings:

    kettle, Italian coffee machine, coffee maker with Nescafè coffee pods, microwave, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, drying rack...

    Entertainment is also made available by free wifi, flat screen tv, and the many restaurants and attractions of the city.

    Air condition and heating match the necessity of the guests, together with the new generation memory foam mattress necessary for a good night sleep, after a long day of sightseeing.

    Casetta di Foscolo welcomes also small guests, proving child seat, wc adapter, crib, baby bottle, stroller (0-36 months), changing table and much more.

    Our guests have open access to the whole apartment.

The property is well located and pretty comfy. The kitchen was very well equipped, which allowed us to cook without any problems. At times, the air conditioning didn't seem to be enough for the apartment.

Location was perfect. Quiet - but close to everything. Loved exploring and this was a perfect spot. Apartment was super clean and spacious. Hosts were easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!

Only issue was the listing said washer/ dryer and there was no dryer and took days for clothes to dry. Nice place, close to everything!

The location was great and the check in directions were easy to follow. There is only a washer - no dryer, and nothing will dry easily. The space is not very functional for more than a couple. There was a very strong moldy smell inside which was a problem for me. There were no trash bags in the bins or to be found anywhere. Again, the location was great and we were out and about as much as possible.

off the beaten path in Venice

nice little apartment just off the main path and away from all of the tourists but just a short walk to where all the action is. check in and checkout was very easy.

Great stay! Very nice staff and very clean apartment. Location was good, easy walking distance to the main areas for shopping and dining but still very quiet at night. Would definitely love to stay here again.

It was a great place for our quick stay in Venice! Check-in and communication was great. Was a little confused by the location, as it is not where VRBO shows it to be, but everything else was the same.

Nice and quiet

The area is a little off the beaten path so it’s very nice and quiet. This also means you have to walk a bit further to the sites than other properties. The communication was great and the place had everything we needed.

This was a great place in a good location in Venice. It was quiet and far enough removed from touristy areas to give us a taste of the “real” Venice! Our only issue was with check in. We arrived at 2:45, and were not able to check in even 15 minutes early, leaving us stranded on the streets of Venice after an overnight international flight. We understand check-in time was 3:00pm, but the lack of flexibility for such a short amount of time was a bit frustrating. We did not receive any check-in information until mid morning the day of, including address and access info. There was also an issue with the locks - we were not aware that the front door shouldn’t be locked with the key. This was not made clear in the information we did receive. A neighbor in the building approached us and was rather unkind, raising her voice at us for several minutes for not “knowing better”. When we reached out to the host about this ordeal, that communication was not super helpful.Other than check-in and communication, this was a lovely stay in a lovely city.

Pictures showing the place are accurate. However they don’t show the mosquitoes & damp flies, very humid, & dark. Apartment had to be aired out in order to make it livable. Needs a dehumidifier, mosquitoes nets, screens on the windows. A/C did not work, and the bed frame dirty. The mosquitoes bit my daughter so badly I reached out to the management company and they claimed to have mosquito repellent machines on site but did not. The next morning someone did deliver RAID mosquito plug in repellent, but we had already left early because between the humidity and the mosquitoes we decided to leave early. The host/management company did accommodate us with the trash schedule since we checked out early and we could not take the recycling to the area since we were gone. The lock on the main door is tricky and I accidentally locked it and the lady next door gave me a harsh speech about why not to lock it even after I explained it was an accident, not enough she told the manager and the host called me up to warn me; I explained it was a one time accident. If they had better humidity and mosquitoe control and cleaned the bed frame this apartment would be nice.
