"What a stunning location this little house is in. Exactly what we wanted, dark skies at night, fabulous sea view and just minutes from the beach. "We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a bicycle trip in the peloponnese. The location in old town was perfect - a bit busy during the day, but wonderful after about 5:00 p.m. The accomodation was excellent, but be aware that if you are trying to self-cater and use the kitchen facilities, there is no real grocery store in the old town, so you have to walk/drive the 1.5 km back to the new town (which has great facilities). "This property is really special. It is spacious and beautiful and just has a certain quality about it. That makes you feel like a queen. The owner‘s mom lives down the hill and, although she doesn’t speak a lot of English, she was thorough in welcoming us and Showing us how to use the kitchen, etc. She had a crisper drawer full of fresh oranges and lemons and an electric orange juice maker. "This is a nice property in Monemvasia but we did experience a few problems. The electricity went out multiple times and we were initially asked to work around their schedule for check-in time. Communication with the management was unpleasant and some untruths were told by them. Not sure whether this was an isolated event or a pattern. Perhaps others will have a better experience than we did. Nice looking property though."
